The ONT is the terminal outside of the house that take the fiber optic cable and changes its code to something a router can understand and its sent through COAX. -

Lets say I have a lot of money and want to get something powerful like those? -
Good evening! Recently I have had the need to make my home network much more secure and create a VPN to access my Drobo remotely, however going about doing this is much more difficult because I have Verizon Fios that runs on COAX and I don't have the option to run Ethernet. My current network layout is as follows: Verizon ONT --> Verizon Quantum Gateway Router --> 8-Port NetGear Prosafe Switch --> Computer and Drobo are connected too. I recently purchased the Google OnHub router and would like to you that as my wireless access point, so my network would look like this: Verizon ONT --> Verizon Quantum Gateway Router --> Google OnHub (Connected directly to Gateway Router) --> 8-Port NetGear Prosafe Switch --> Computer and Drobo. However for the security and VPN portion I have been considering two UTM appliances, the Meraki MX64 and the WatchDog T10. Meraki seems very interesting since it uses the cloud to manage the appliance and supposedly has easy VPN setup, however WatchDog T10 seems more traditional and harder to setup but has a solid architecture. All I'm looking for is opinions on what should be done and which UTM would you prefer. Thanks!
