    The only difference worth mentioning is ram compression in windows 10 makes a huge difference.

    980 is still a decent card so it might be. unless you're on 4k. Then just sell them and buy pascal. Im still using 1080 monitor.

    Its not as black and white mate. Overclocking can be unpredictable. Some will just crash after a certain point no matter how much cooling you have.

    When it comes to build quality my guess would be msi gaming Z but its expensive.

    Its different from builds to builds. On my negative is better. Because positive creates a vacuum of hot air from the motherboard.

    It can make in games where gpu dosent matter that much. Else its mostly just cas rating. faster cycles is better performance.

    Yea i think it will actually just slightly. Get a RX 470. I dont think 1060 will bottleneck in a way that make games choppy and unplayable. But maybe not used to its full potential.

    I have watercooling and negative pressure not a lot of dust. Most of the dust is from removing the panel while computer is on. I will clean it eventually but its pretty good.I have 4 fan filters 1 for psu and 3 for radiators. So depends a lot of you're setup.

    I had the same issue. turned out i had to increase the vcore 3 notches. Because the cpu draw volt in graphic demanding games. Also had to tweak memory.

    The whole point of more core to begin with is less heat. Else we would all use pentium 4 up to 2010. That is the main reason why they started making dual cores.

    This is what i get and it never throttle from normal use. Obviously write speeds are ok its just an example.

    Have you seen the speeds? even a old 5400rpm drive should 20mb/s or more.

    Maybe the hard drive is failing? One of mine just died last week Try to repair sectors and broken files.
