    Hey there all, a bit different than your usual mods, but was wondering if anyone knows of any 'external power switches' that i can use for my laptop, this way i can have the laptop tucked away and still be able to turn it on without having to pull it out everytime.

    I like the build here. the only thing id add is a SSD (as i have a spare 500gb drive) or HDD and the OS??

    i just remebered i have a 3.5" 500gb western digital green drive that i dont use, perhaps i remove the 1tb hdd or the ssd (only have my os on it)

    Whats your thoughts on an AMD based build?? 6300k any good for video editing and general gameplay??

    haha yeah i thought that. but i still have a ps3, which i am using alot more now, and runs those games perf fine although graphics, but they are not everything. im not a big gamer just casual, so i was thinking the accessories as i like comfort while using my pc. that is why i made this thread, opinions

    yeah i wont be pulling my laptop to bits, have 2 years of school left and will need to use as a research/work machiene as such

    My laptop is 5ish years old nothing to great. has I5 430m processor, GeForce 320M, 4GB DDR3 Ram, 500GB HDD looking to run games such as battlefield, gta on medium - high and others such as CS-GO and Minecraft

    Hi all i'm new to the forum, been waiting to join for a long time. i have a couple of wishlists here (from PCCG an Australian PC Part Retailer) and i was wondering if i should go with the custom build i have put in wishlist 1 or go for the accessories as i have a decent laptop, but not that great for gaming.
