reinstalling windows, to see if that will fix it. low an behold reinstalling windows fixed it...

It didn't do anything when I tried.

Problem is I am directly connected with the router .. wireless works fine, if I connect something other then my rig into the cable it works 0 issues.. im assuming my internal modem is the problem on my motherboard but im not sure.

no luck and im not getting a wireless card... any other ideas? if not ill be taking my rig to my computer guy.

I have everything but my default gateway in my ipconfig, this happened a few days ago when my mother accidently unplugged our phone line, im using windows 7 pro, ive tried just about everything that I know what im doing with anyways, reset routers uninstalling stuff reinstalling and some more less likely to change anything options. im hard lined into the motherboard for my internet.

I no longer have a default gateway im not sure what to do, ive tried uninstalling my driver and reinstalling. Any ideas? motherboard is a Maximus VII Z97
