  1. I got my vengeance lpx ddr4 3200Mhz timings to 14-13-13-31, I normally only see values that are equal or bigger than the first one on the other values my question is, is this normal and stable or should I set it to 14-14-14-31
  2. So if i get the CPU-NB voltage a up I can run the 3.7 Ghz with the 3200 mhz ram?
  3. Im not using XMP, Im manually overclocking things
  4. Ok i have a couple of question: specs: CPU - r5 1600 motherboard - MSI b350 Tomahawk RAM- ddr4 vengeance lpx 3200 Questions: 1- If i set my ram to 3200Mhz and 16-18-18-18-36 (the lowest I can get it), I can only get my cpu to about 3.6 ghz, but if I set my ram to 2933Mhz and 14-16-16-16-34 I can get my cpu to 3.7Ghz and I don't know whats more worth ? 2- After the overclock to my cpu lets say the 3.7GHz one, if I enable "AMD cool and quiet" feature the cpu never actually goes to the full 3.7 ghz it stays about 3.62Gz, so is there any way to either set manually the curve of frequency/load or to do something that makes this go to max frequency when in full load or do I have to disable it? 3-And my final question is, when overclocking sometimes the overclock doesn't stick it just goes back to default values but when I go to UEFI its there and I don't know why, its not because im trying a value too high because I tried with 3.3Ghz and still sometimes it doesn't stick someone has any clue as to why? EDIT: I forgot to say this but my cpu voltage is 1.3 and I would like it to stay there thats why im only going for a small overclock as this is my first overclock and im not mentally ready to go further EDIT 2: The rig is for gamming and a bit of 3d rendering in blender Thanks
  5. didn't fixed it sent it for repair
  6. Ok I will do that tomorrow then and report my results
  7. https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/R9-380-GAMING-2G.html#hero-overview this one
  8. Here is in stock settings (its throttling but still 99C)
  9. yes because its underclocked you want me to put it in stock?
  10. Is this what you want? running a game currently
  11. They are spinning I can try replace it tomorrow
  12. I can if you tell me how I never used msi afterburner
  13. Ok so I bought a used R9 380 put it on my pc and the temps were 99ºC, I then bought a new pc case (the define S from fractal design) because maybe it could be the cooling since I had a bad case but the temps are still 99ºC, so now I don't know if the problem is still the case and should I buy more fans or is it the gpu. So what can i do? idk if specs are importante but: cpu - ryzen r5 1600 gpu- r9 380 case- Define S (with default fans (2)) Motherboard- MSI b350 Tomahawk Cooler - stock Ram - 16GB of Vengeance lpx Edit: I'm currently underclocking and undervolt it to 900Mhz and it runs at about 72ºC Edit 2: I will replace the thermal compound tomorrow since some of you suggested it
