  1. Or should I wait, ´cause there are rumours that nvidia will release a new grafics card series at the release of the oculus rift. So should I wait or buy one now what would you do? Max thanks
  2. So I think I´ve come to a decission: I´ll take the GTX 980 or R9 Fury or R9 290 CF. Which one to go with? Max
  3. So you mean that even if it has "just" 4GB its much faster due to the HBM technology. So if I do a lot of modding in for example Skyrim would the R9 390x with 8Gb be better or the R9 Fury with 4GB (but HBM)? Max
  4. Try Hawken, its awesome^^ You controle a Mech, and fight others. there are more than 15 Mechs available
  5. Or should I wait, ´cause there are rumours that nvidia will release a new grafics card series at the release of the oculus rift. So should I wait or buy one know what would you do? Max thanks
  6. Ok, I looked some things up and the Fury doesn´t seem that much better than the 980 and Nvidia has better drivers (they say), so wouldn´t it be better to go with a 980. Or does anyone know some benchmarks with the 980 in comparison to r9 290 cf and r9 290x cf Max
  7. Ok thanks, actually I´m moving it 15min in a suitcase per foot then 20min bus driving, 1hour train driving and again 15min per foot. So I doubt this will work will it? Max
  8. Ok thanks, so for Fury like this one? http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B011LRKSNY?keywords=r9%20fury&qid=1440666298&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1 And is there a lot of difference between 290 cf and 390 cf or 290x cf and 390x cf? Max
  9. Thanks, but in austria the GTX 980 ti costs about 750->€ and thats to expencive for me. I think about spending max. 600 or so
  10. Ok thanks a lot, so in the end the answer is NO ok thanks anyway^^
  11. OK thanks so far, right know games like The Witcher 3 but also Hawken, Besiege, Skyrim (with a lot of grafic modding^^) and Far Cry 4/3, GTA V and these games. Therefore the "(though I´m not sure about that)" because right now its a bit to expensive. Thanks anyway Max
  12. Hey there, I´d like to know how durable a AIO watercooling system like the Corsair H80i or so is? I´m transporting my PC every now and then ( to be more precise: whenever I have holidays - so 8 times a year) in my suitcase and was allways affraid of using a watercooling system for my cpu or gpu. Is it likly to break or will it be allright? Greetings Max Austria PS: I know my english is pretty poor, it´s becuase it isn´t my motherlanguage.^^
  13. Hey there, first of all I´d like to mention that I´m not that good in English ´cause I´m an Austrian guy, but this forum seems to be one of the best to get help.^^ Second, I know there might be another forum which allready discussed this topic but I didn´t find any so I started a new one, simply becaus it seemed as the easiest way. Now my question: Resently I looked up the systemrequierments on the Oculus Rift which will be released in Q1 2015, and I realised that my system wasn´t ready for that. CPU: Intel i7 4770K (not overclocked) Motherboard: ASUS VI Gene (C2) GPU: (right now) PNY GTX 770 OC 2GB RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4GB CPU-Cooler: (Air) Prolimatech Megahalems (with 1xNoctua NF-F12) PSU: BeQuiet 630W Case: Corsair 350D Monitor: LG 29UM55-P (and) BenQ GL2450 Mouse: Roccat Kone Pure So I thought about getting a new grafics card. And these ones are to choose from: GTX 980 GTX 970 SLI (though I´m not sure about that) R9 290X R9 290 CF R9 290X CF R9 390X R9 390 CF R9 390X CF And now I ask you, in hope you know it better than me, to give me an advise. Which one is the best for its money. And at the end do I need to upgrade my PSU too? Nice Greetings Max, Salzburg Austria
