  1. Yeah I realise that, the PSU that I currently have came pre built with my PC and I think that my GTX 760 died because of it. I also got suggested an XFX PSU, which is 550W, but I was told that it would be enough for my PC. What do you think about XFX ATX 2.3 TS 550W?
  2. Well I need a PSU that would last at least 3 years and wouldn't make those noises. My max budget would be like 70 euros, but I wouldn't want to spend this much.
  3. Well, there are a lot of choices and I don't have much knowledge about PSU's. I also live in the area where not every PSU is available, so I would be really grateful if you could suggest something from this website: http://www.skytech.lt/kompiuteriu-komponentai-maitinimo-blokai-c-86_85_300.html
  4. PC Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3.40 GHz GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G RAM: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 HDD: 1 TB 7200 RPM MOBO: Gigabyte B85M-D3V PSU: Take Me 600W ATX Silent 120mm I currently have a Take Me 600W PSU, which I have been using for over a year with my GTX 970. It has always made a lot of noise. I'm not talking about fan noise. It's like an eletric signal or somethink like that, that can be heard when I record something with the microphone, through my heaphones and speakers. It gets even louder when I play games or for example connect my phone to the PC throught USB. I am not sure that it is the PSU, but I'm sure, that it's not the graphics card, because when I was using GTX 760 there was the same noise. So the final question. Do I need a new PSU? If I do, then what would you recommend at arount 50 euros? I am thinking about a Corsair VS550, it looks like a quite fair looking PSU from a trusted company. If you have any suggestionas, please help me, because I dont want my GTX 970 to fry, like my GTX 760 did.
  5. Well, I have the latest GPU drivers, which I recently updated. Also setting up a diffrent wallpaper helped and I don't see any black spots anymore while creating new files on my desktop. Well, I hope everything will be fine now, but if something similar happens again, I will probably reinstall Windows. I was considering to upgrading to Windows 10 anyway. Although, I don't know yet if it is stable anough for streaming and youtubing, because I heard, that some programs do not work on Win10 yet.
  6. It seems that I have just found out, why my wallpaper was disappearing. It's because I moved the original wallpaper image from C: drive to E: drive. So Windows probably had trouble with finding it. But I still don't know why my desktop icons got rearranged and renamed like that.
  7. MalwareBytes found 0 threats, AdwCleaner on the other hand found something and removed it, but I don't know if it was anything seriuos: # AdwCleaner v5.032 - Logfile created 31/01/2016 at 22:54:11 # Updated 31/01/2016 by Xplode # Database : 2016-01-31.1 [Server] # Operating system : Windows 8.1 Pro (x64) # Username : Admin - JUODAS # Running from : C:\Users\Admin\Downloads\adwcleaner_5.032.exe # Option : Cleaning # Support : http://toolslib.net/forum ***** [ Services ] ***** [-] Service Deleted : Service KMSELDI ***** [ Folders ] ***** [-] Folder Deleted : C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\poohjpljfecljomfhhimjhddddlidhdd ***** [ Files ] ***** [-] File Deleted : C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\hxxp_st.chatango.com_0.localstorage [-] File Deleted : C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\hxxp_st.chatango.com_0.localstorage-journal [-] File Deleted : C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\hxxp_veohb.net_0.localstorage [-] File Deleted : C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\hxxp_veohb.net_0.localstorage-journal ***** [ DLLs ] ***** ***** [ Shortcuts ] ***** ***** [ Scheduled tasks ] ***** ***** [ Registry ] ***** [-] Key Deleted : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SAKURA ***** [ Web browsers ] ***** [-] [C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Secure Preferences] [Extension] Deleted : poohjpljfecljomfhhimjhddddlidhdd ************************* :: "Tracing" keys removed :: Winsock settings cleared ########## EOF - C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[C1].txt - [1578 bytes] ##########
  8. Well, I've beed using this Windows install for about two years, and FL Studio always worked properly, until now. I also think that reinstalling Windows would help with some issues, so I may give it a try soon
  9. Well, I'm usually very aware of any viruses, but I'll run a few system scans. Also, what I didn't mention is that when I tried to save a project in flstudio, I also had an error, saying that some kind of dll file is missing.
  10. I have installed a cracked version of farcry4 about a week ago. That's the last thing I downloaded before this happened
  11. I have a brand new MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Gaming 4G card, which works perfectly. I've been using it for a few weeks now, streaming for very long periods of time and haven't noticed any problems with the GPU. The only game that stuttered was GTA V, but only after about 10 minutes of gameplay.
  12. No, I have a brand new GPU, which can play games really well, but I immediatly suspected my HDD, because I get a lot of stuttering on GTA V and my HDD usage there is usually at 100% when I get those lagspikes. Although the lag only appears after about 10 minutes of gameplay. I also noticed that when I'm streaming with obs, textures on gta 5 load very slow and sometimes when i stream farcry 4 my game stops and i get a loading icon in the corner, probably because of the hdd too. My HDD is under 2 years old, and I haven't had any HDD problems until I upgraded my GPU. My current specs are: Intel Core i5-4670 3.40 GHz Intel HD Graphics 4600 MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Gaming 4G 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD
  13. Hello. So, I've beed tidying up my files for about half an hour and then I noticed that whenever i placed my cursor on a file or folder in my desktop, my wallpaper kind of went black around that file. It also went black wherever I dragged my mouse trying to make a selection. I have uploaded a photo of what happened. Well, after some time, that went away in reverse. I had to drag my mouse and select everything around these black spots in order for them to disappear. Then, a little bit later I tried to create a text file and I had some sort of windows error. I didn't take a photo of that unfortunately, but after that error, my desktop items somehow got randomly rearranged to the left side of my desktop and allmost all of them had the same name of one of many files that i had on my desktop. Well, I immidietly turned off my computer then, because I didn't want anything to mess up. All of this stuff happened yesterday. Today, i backed up all of my important files, because I suspect it can be an HDD issue. I downloaded some software to benchmark my hdd, but it says, that it's health is excelent. This photo was taken today, because these black spots thing repeated after some time, so I'm still curiuous, what could have caused such thing, and what should I do to prevent it from happening again?
  14. My max cpu temperature is about 73 C and my max GPU temperature is around 66 C
  15. Well the interesting thing is that whenever I have a lagspike, both my GPU usage and CPU usage drops for a moment, but my HDD usage gets very high, sometimes even to 100%... However I have those spikes even if HDD usage reaches like 50% or so...
