Well easy to oc i just used voltage till I could pass r15 5 times in a row and Iv not crashed in anything I do yet

You think it doesn't but mine boosts to 4.1 to 4.4 occasionally which Iv got recorded In hwinfo64 it does still happen it happens on the base clock

Happens to me every now and again no blue screen or anything just black screen but pc is still running and a error code in cpu i don't no what causes it and it has happened anything in between YouTube to gaming to rendering but after a few it stoped doing it I think it's maby to do with xfr boosting to high (all ryzen chips boot) after i updated to the beta bios with the 1006 agesa code it's been a lot lot better for me

Cpu wise the 1400 is a beast I could t possibly recommend intel right now unless you got a 4460 moo and ram under 150 pound

Basically get afterburner up and tweak settings until ur just under 3gb you will have much higher fps for not much graphical fidelity cost than the 6g using all 6gb also my 980tis are 6gb and at 1440p I never really go over 4gb so at 1080p you should be fine

There is probly a specific port you have to use when you downloaded the file did u extract it with winraw or something like that because it won't read a zip folder

I made the same swap 144hz ryzen is better in gaming for me

A 1700 will be twice as good as a 4790k in content creation providing ur programs can use the threads and as far as gaming goes remember all the benchmarks people post as on a clean install of windows with just the game I had a 4790k at 4.9ghz my 1700 gets better fps in gaming, better mins better averages when you use your pc normally with all your programs installed ryzen wins hands down there are a few vids on this from users who get the same fps as a 7700k the 7700k only wins on a clean install of windows with nothing Installed

Stupid question but did u run the pentium In this board ? Because if so and it's a oem board it locks the board to a cpu

Up the soc to 1.2 dram voltage to 1.35/1.4 thats what got mine running corsair vengance 3200mhz Hynix

No u won't I had a 4790k at 4.9 and got better fps with my 1600 at 4ghz and a lot more stable too

A thousand times this !!! i don't have a lot of crap on my pc but I do have 3 screens usually 2 tabs Skype and discord then a game in the middle, might not sound like a lot but runs so much much better on ryzen reviwers always test on a clean os with only a few games installed

Any reason why ? My 1600 at 4ghz out performed my 4790k at 4.9ghz in gaming only reason I say the 1600 is 3 year warranty platform has another 2 generations of cpus garented new game engines are using more cores

Well if op is like me he wants a top ryzen board for zen 2 and 3 in the future not sure about the inte choice of board tho but 1600 is the best option and oc to 4ghz easy on the hero 6 they is a 4ghz auto oc in the bios
