    Ok, lets say that Im new to computers and just want a new gpu since it sounds like its gonna explode :) (sorry for sarcasm but.. im not here to try to fix my gpu)
    Imagine if your phone started to make sounds like it was gonna explode, do you think a firmware reset on it would help 😂

    are you sure its dying and not something software wise being broken?

    Graphics are fucked up from time to time, nvidia managed to disable my dp port for 4months and I couldnt revert it, fan sounds like its gonna explode (+1/2 fans have stopped spinning even with a throughout cleaning (vacume, compressed air+q-tips) xD so yeah It a matter of time before it kneels down in a burning flame of fire

    Hey,
    For a while my Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP have started to fail on me. so Ill guess its time to uppgrade it.
    Running 2 monitors, 1 using DP other DVI-D (1080)
    Rest of specs:
    ROG STRIX Z270H GAMING
    Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 32GB
    Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Prosessor

    Im on a budget so jumping up to current 3070 prices are a bit to much. (Ish 400-450usd)

    Dear members of LTT,
    Its now getting closer to the death of my Astro A50 Ive used on my pc for a few years and im then looking to upgrade.

    - Use:
    Something I can use in shooters to get crisp clear sound
    Listning to music (tbh the thing over is more important as I listen to music from so many things during the day that the music QL doesnt rly matter anymore)

    - Pricepoint:
    I havent set a price but think maximum would be around 250usd ish mark.

    - Microphone:
    I know that standalone mics are MUCH better than those built into headset, so im open for that but I dont/cant have a huge fucking thing infront of my face.
    I do have LOUD mechanical keyboard so it have to avoid picking up every keystroke (luckily you also got some good AI noice cancelation in discord (main use case))

    Appreciate the tips you folks give and have a great december ^^ 

    Stupid multi GPU&Monitor questions

    Been thinking of this for a while.

    Im running atm 2x monitors (1080p), where 1 monitor is for gaming and other is for socials like discord/spotify.
    If I am to run each screen off different GPUs are there fps to gain from that (example using my prev generation GPU on my second monitor) ?

    "Limitless", Ive rather pay a bit more to have a headsett that can survive for 4yrs than switch as often as my phone xD
