I have Windows 10, and whenever I set my microphone volume down to 70 from Control panel>sounds>recording it goes back up to 100 in a few minutes, any suggestions? (usually running skype,discord, and csgo)

I'm planning a computer in a desk build, but the desk doesn't have enough space to mount the gpu on the motherboard vertically, would using a ribbon to connect it affect performance?

Solved the problem, Plugged it into a normal PCI instead of the PCI e x1 I thought it had to go in. Thanks for the help anyways!!

I have two old routers next to me, both plugged in on top of my computer. When I go to CMD for a default gateway I don't get anything. How do I configure it? Sorry, I'm more of a hardware guy.

Can you point me in the direction of a cheap bridge router? I can seem to be finding any.

Do I need two wireless access points that support it, or only one?

I moved into a new house that was built without any wired internet ports throughout the house, So my desktop in my room has to be converted to a wireless format. The problem is my GPU covers my PCI-e x1. So I have a few questions. Can I use an old router with wireless capabilities to convert a wireless signal into a wired signal? And I saw a normal PCI wireless adapter, but it had a short prong, long prong, short prong. I'm moving to my dads' house in 2 months so spending lots of money would be pointless. If you have suggestions/questions, please respond.

I've tried everything, I press f12 f11 delete and f2 also, I've tried every slot, I'll try getting a ps2 keyboard. Is there anything I could physically do to get BIOS on startup? what about a new drive. That would start with bios right? I heard that if you take out the battery on the motherboard that starts with BIOS?

I don't know the model. There are lights on the top of keyboard indicating thingsl ike caps lock etc. When the num lock turns on I know the keyboard is on, anyways i am already mashing the f11 key

Whenever I turn on my computer and it says "press F11 for BIOS" or something like that, my keyboard isn't on. My peripherals don't turn on until login screen, How else can I get into BIOS? Thanks.
