  1. I've got a stock unbranded case fan at the front along with a cooler master sickleflow led fan. At the rear i have a bit fenix spectre. They just seem to be humming too loudly on the lowest speeds.
  2. I am using them as intakes and exhausts for the front and back of my case. I will need 1 static pressure for one of the front fans as there is a drive cage in the way, and air flow editions for the other front intake and rear exhaust. So would you recommend these fans then?
  3. I wanted some quieter fans as my pc is too loud. What quiet/silent fans could you recommend? Thanks
  4. I am comparing 2 fans by corsair and i am wondering if there is any difference between these two fans. They are both AF120 Quiet editions but one has led's and one does not, however the ones without LED's are a little more expensive and i'm wondering why. I want the quietest fans, and i dont know which fans are quieter, or if they are the same. Here are the links to both the products. 5. Hey, thanks for everyones help, although it didn't solve the problem. My firend however solved the problem. All he had to do was update windows and all of a sudden the hard drive was there. Simple fix
  6. Okay thanks, i'll try to swap the sata cable and port and see if that fixes it.
  7. ummmmmm. i havent solved this. And i've spend hours googling this thanks very much. I haven't found any answers that help MY situation.
  8. I know how to format a hard drive, the problem is, it isn't showing in disk manager....
  9. So i built a pc for my friend yesterday, installed the OS on an SSD and got a 1TB WD Blue HDD for storage, everything is working fine except for one thing. I can't for the life of me get the hard drive to show up in windows. Not in the disk manager, device manager or my computer. However the HDD does show in the BIOS. Any ideas? Thanks Specs: i5-4590 MSI R9 380 Gigabyte Z97P-D3 Motherboard 2x 4GB Hyper Fury DDR3 600W EVGA PSU 250GB Samsung Pro SSD 1TB WD Blue HDD
  10. I have tried that, my motherboard comes with Ai Suite II which includes Fan Xpert. I tried using fan Xpert but there is no option to fully turn off your fans when you dont need them on. I think you need fan Xpert II which is not supported by my motherboard i think.
  11. So i am trying to control my fans with SpeedFan. I have one 4-Pin case fan and two 3-Pin case fans connected to my motherboard (Asus M5Aa97 R2.0). I can only control the 4-pin fan for some reason. And when i change the speed of the 4 pin fan, the speed of all of my fans change aswell. I can't seem to find a way to control each fan individually. I want to be able to turn them all off at idle, and then for them all to have their own unique temperature curve, but i cant seem to be able to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
