  1. The thing is I do know what I did. I knew it needed to be in bridge mode. I couldn't get it to use the option that was there to do so prior, and now it worked. Every wireless router I've owned has had these options, so I fail to see your point, beyond just being annoying.
  2. Does it really matter for the application? I get your point, but honestly it wouldn't have made the out come of the post any different except having more information.
  3. Just tried setting to bridge mode, and it's all fine this time. Not sure why it wouldn't work before, but it's perfect now. Thank you for your input!
  4. Just checked, and both are on the same subnet mask.
  5. I greatly struggled to find a mouse I felt comfortable with. I like to palm grip, and I find most options aren't quite big enough. Until I found the R.A.T. 7. Pretty nice, as with all of the companies products (I also have their flight stick now) it's very customizable. While it isn't wireless, it does have a pinky rest (two different ones, actually) as well as a thumb rest that I've grown fond of. For comfort level, I've found no better solution.
  6. From what I've read, I would guess different, but haven't confirmed. I read something about it not mattering even if they were on the same subnet if so and so wasn't done first. Would simply putting them on the same subnet solve the problem?
  7. I've had Amazon Prime for a couple years now, and I definitely use it too much. If I want any little thing I just go on Amazon and get it. Admittedly over paying sometimes, because with the free two-day shipping its cheaper and faster than getting it for a lower price somewhere else.
  8. I have a bit of a problem. We have various wireless devices in my household, and so the connection can get a bit bogged down. In my room I have three devices I use, so I decided to connect a router dedicated to these devices; my Roku SmartTV, my Surface, and my Steam Link. This has greatly improved performance, as well as my Miracast to the TV. Sadly, there is one hand up, I can no longer connect to my main PC with my Steam Link. Let me give a summary of the network... Modem/router combo that is connected to my main PC and then the other router. Then off that router, I have my Steam Link hardwired and the other two devices on wireless. I've tried changing the secondary router to bridge mode, but it gives me an invalid field message, and to be honest I'm not really sure what I'm doing here. If someone can propose a solution here, I'd greatly appreciate it.
  9. I'm looking to build a small computer for my bedroom to use for web browsing and Steam in-home streaming. I have all the parts that I need to build a regular desktop that should be sufficient, but that's not going to work size-wise. So I suppose the only difference would be the case, logic board, and power supply, yes? SO I'm looking for a barebones kit with a LGA 1155 socket, and ideal the option for a graphics card. I guess I don't really care about size (as long as it mounts to VESA) or look, or noise level really. Just as long as it's a solid case, with decent cooling. I think ideally space for a radiator later would be awesome. Looking at a budget of around $300 maximum (In US). Any recomendations for discreate graphics cards would be apreciated too, since I doubt I'll find a case to fit my HD7790. I play to use a wireless keyboard/track pad and a USB controller. I guess it doesn't HAVE to be barebones, can be a fully assembled. Just as long as it doesn't break the budget or cooling perameter. I think that about covers it, let me know if I need more information, or what you guys think!
