  1. Update #2: The issue has came back, even without the the hard drives it freezes and crashes but i have noticed a pattern : when im watching movies theres a slight freeze and it continues to play, but when playing games it freezes and i have to force restart,
  2. Status update : the audio was not the problem,i have since took out my harddrives and not a single freeze in the last 8 days, however there were some hiccups when watching movies it would freeze for a split second and the same buzzing sound but still continue operating normally. I am now lost on whats going on.
  3. A lil update : I've read some other forums about this issue, and people have reported that it might be the sound drivers,as in there are more than 1 audio driver on and they are fighting over for the audio creating the crash. So i have disable all other audio devices except "Realtek High Definition Audio"(mobo's audio driver) and disable these two : "nvidia high definition audio" and "NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device(Wave Extensible)(WDM). P.S. I've crystaldisk on all three devices the results seem normal attached imgurs. http://imgur.com/Fzz36RF http://imgur.com/XBBDuO6
  4. I will run crystaldisk on all 3 drives including the ssd,run a memtest overnight and sit around with only the ssd in the pc for a couple of days and i will report back if there are any changes.
  5. I have noticed just lately that one of my hardrives is giving out like a vibrating humming noice and when used has the sound of a 20gb hardrive from the 90s.But my question would be if the hardrive could cause a freeze like this ? And yes i know i need to change the cx600 to a better psu,but i wont be able to do that not in the near month or two.
  6. I formated all my drives and installed a fresh OS.
  7. for reference this is basically what happens(not my vid): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bm-DJT38PIg
  8. I dont think thats the case because it was happening with my old gtx 560ti and its happening now with my gtx 970
  9. It never happened before, when i used it with my old rig.Just when i change to the new build and sometime after.
  10. The buzzing is not coming from the PC itself, its coming from speakers, headphones whichever i use at the moment,im certain its sound looped from dekstop.
  11. Hello people, So i have a problem with my pc since back in october when i started building my new pc i bought a new mobo, ram, ssd and a cpu for my pc(the only parts that i used from my old build were a 560ti and a 600w corsair cx PSU). I don't recall if it started at first but some time later my pc started to completely screen freeze and have this big buzzing sound, like the dekstop sound was looping over at a 1mil second interval, and it was completely random it could happen once a week, sometimes it would happen everyday, but i lived on with it.I moved back home from UK and the problem started being more persistent than i originaly remember. The freeze would happen everyday and it started getting on my nerves and this leads us to last 4 days. I read that it may be a ram slot issue, ssd issue, windows driver issue, gpu issue. So i bought a msi gtx 970,i changed my ram to another slot, fresh installed windows, changed the xmp profile on my ram and everything seemed fine for the last 3 days no crashes whatsoever.Aaaand it happened today, same freezing same buzzing sound.Any suggestions ? PC specs : Asus z170 pro gaming mobo Corsair DDR4-2400mhz 8gb Intel i5-6600k (CM Blizzard T2 Cooler) MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G Samsung 850 EVO SSD 250GB 2x Seagate Barracudas 300gb Corsair CX 600W PSU TL;RD new pc,random screen freezes, loud buzzing sound. Ples help
  12. http://imgur.com/a7vEZTZ This is a rough estimate of the build costs not counting the PSU which is for 93EUR.(And yes my friend wants 16gb of ram because mainly his argument is for mixing music,i dont get into that stuff so i shouldnt know, but its his pc)
  13. The only r9 390 i could find were : MSI,ASUS,GIGABYTE,SAPPHIRE. And the only seasonic psu i did find was the M12II 620w one. But even though if i pick a r9 390 im going overbudget by over a 100euros. And might i tell you the parts here are heavily overpriced as we can only buy from local retailers who up theyr price a lot and shipping from amazon would be expensive as hell.
  14. As i said the part availability is very bad here in lithuania compared to other countries ive been, like i couldnt find anywhere that xfx r9 390 or the silverstone psu,but thanks for the help tho
  15. the thing is i cant get my hand on a s12ii (lithuania has very limited storage on good psu's and amd hardware) but i could get my hands on a Seasonic M12II-EVO620 620W 80 Plu
