  1. I have the Corsair C70 (military) but my ram is red, so a little bit more wouldn't hurt... but both work (asus a bit more since it's all black). But some people have said that the MSI runs cooler while others the opposite... and my room gets pretty hot
  2. I will be getting a 1080 soon and since performance wise the MSI gaming X and the Asus A8G are very close, the next thing to look at is cooling; Which one does a better job ?
  3. I think it's gonna be the ASUS... thanks
  4. sitting surfing the forums... made me also considering the MSI GAMING X ... Never had an Asus card before so I can't say how good they are. So I guess in the end it's either the ASUS 1080 A8G or the Gaming X !?
  5. how much of a difference would it be out of the box fps wise ?
  6. I'm afraid there is no link, I found the A8G version available at a store near by, having the same price as the O8G . It goes like this (8g<A8G<O8G) so the A8G is a bit oc'd. here are the specs from the offical web. https://www.asus.com/Product-Compare/?products=rxhpVSuR74480kni,nrWaZwKol5KpK4Ud So I don't know if I should just dive in for the A8G or what...
  7. it s not in stock bro... hence don't know if it's worth waiting !
  8. don't really play that many multiplayer shooters; but if anyone did have both and can give an input on how they perform out of the box, would B great
  9. they are pretty much the same price... that's why I don't know if I should wait. And I'll be getting it for gaming so if it's like only 2-3 fps difference it wont matter
  10. Not much of an overclocker, so how much of a difference in fps is there between the two !? I can't seem to find the O8G anywhere near me in stock, while the A8G is available and I don't know if I should wait...
  11. yeah i'd rather just go with a bigger C drive than over extending it; I'm porbably gonna go with 250 to be sure, since i dont isntall windows often... thanks !
  12. steam will be on drive D but the saves and programs will be on C so getting some breathing space in long terms 200-250 would be ok you think ?
  13. I'm gonna install windows 10 on my "WD Black 2TB 7200 RPM". I will be having a drive C with windows on it, and drive D for movies, games and storage... What would be the best way to split it ? 150 for C and D gets the rest; or should i put 200 or more on C ?
  14. I bet that test didn t last long (jk) thx, I think ill go with the 650
  15. im pretty sure asus strix for examples requires less than the oc-ed or xtreme gigabyte. what brand do you have ? and what kind of power supply
