  1. lol, I'll look into it. Should be really cheap with the Korean monitor manufacturers like Crossover. Thanks for your response.
  2. Depends on what content you want on your TV. If you want to watch Netflix and such, Chromecast is the answer. If not, get a Raspberry Pi/NUC/Zotac MiniPC/Compute Stick. What do you plan on doing on your TV? Also, what country do you live in? If your budget is tight, shipping is a big concern.
  3. Hmm, I guess I should consider using SLI. Also never used 1440p before - Is it really worth it?
  4. But it looks so much better with the dual GPUs connected with SLI... Are there any noticeable disadvantages to SLI other than the horrible scaling on some games? Mostly I play pretty mainstream titles like GTA V, and the Division, so I hope it's not much of a problem. I don't think I'll be replacing my GPUs anytime soon. As for the monitors, I'm pretty sure you're right. Do you use dual, triple monitors? If so, what stand/mechanism do you use? Nice profile pic, btw.
  5. It seems like after 5 years, the highest end cards back then, like the GTX 480, can't hold up to the latest games. So I decided since I plan on using the machine for 5+ years, why the hell not beef it up. Does it improve the experience dramatically? Never used dual monitors other than mismatched ones.
  6. The only reason I'm selling the ASUS is because a friend of mine wants a 1080p monitor. I don't want to deal with all the listing and shipping crap. I've used an ultrawide before, It's really good. But sometimes, some games give me black bezels that can't be fixed(for instance, Overwatch, GTA V Cutscenes, etc) that annoys the crap out of me. Also, 2560x1080 ones are OK, but I'd rather have a 3440x1440.
  7. I plan on buying 2x GTX 1080s for my next rig, and for monitors I have a ASUS VX238H 1080p 5ms monitor and a Dell U2410 1920x1200 Ultrasharp monitor, and I plan on selling the Asus and getting another U2410 . I also plan on buying a dual monitor stand to have the monitors stand on one stand, because my desk space is severely limited.(My large mousepad won't even fit all the way) But I heard using NVidia surround can be used for 2 monitors, but it won't give me a plausible experience because the center is obstructed by the bezels. Does having a identical 2nd monitor improve the experience of day to day tasks then having different ones? My budget is only about $300. Any suggestions?
  8. Since I don't do much besides day-to-day(Excel won't make much difference lol) tasks and gaming, I guess I'll stick with the 850 then. Thanks for the 2 cents on the CableMod stuff.
  9. Ah, thanks. Then I'll proabably go with the 850 EVO or the PRO. Does M.2 perform well too? Specifically the Samsung 950 ones... and are CableMods worth it?
  10. Doesn't the 730 Series have 5 year warranties too? are there any other advantages that Samsung provides that Intel doesn't? What situations do Blacks get useful?
  11. I plan on running the ssds in RAID 0, so no. Thanks for the suggestion, tho.
  12. No. I plan on getting a cheap 4K monitor from Korean maufacturers, but I'm out of space with the 2 1080p monitors. 32GB IS Needed, I use a few dozens of programs running in the background as well as a few dozen chrome tabs. Why change out the 730 series though? I heard they were quite reliable, and I thought WD drives had lower failure rates than Seagate Barracudas. Just wondering.
  13. I currently reside in Korea for multiple reasons, and I heard from Tek Syndicate that Korean monitors really give a good bang for the buck, and I plan on purchasing them. What's your experience? If you've used a 4k/1440p monitor from Korean manufacturers before, leave your experience, and your review below. And recommendations are appreciated.
  14. Never watched that workshop video before. Thanks Also, Should I include CableMod, or sleeved cables, or do Corsair power supply come with them? Only used EVGA ones before, and while the cables are nice, they don't include sleeved ones.
