  1. For the price of vega 56 i could get a GTX 1080ti here haha, I’m a bit worried since buying a 8700K would probably cost around 120$ more. They say that it’s a good tier 2 psu, but I think I can swap it with evga supernova 650W.
  2. Good build from Nvidia battlebox, but locked processor + without monitor does not sound like a good deal for me. All those RGB capabilites is great but I personally don't mind making a non rgb PC.
  3. is something like cryorig H7 good enough or corsair h100i is better ?
  4. Hey guys, as the title says I'm going to build a PC in Malaysia .My budget is around 6500 MYR = 1600ish USD, you can refer to Malaysia Price list, Malaysia price list no.2 or Malaysia price list no.3 for the price of pc components (1 USD = 4,1 MYR). I'm willing to increase the budget if it's necessary. The PC will be used mainly for eSports titles + streaming (I play Rainbow six siege most of the time and occasionally play other games). So I need to achieve a stable 144 FPS while streaming 1080p60. The reason why I need a stable 144 fps is because I'm planning to play proffesionally. I'm only planning to run a 1080p 144hz monitor for now, but might add more in the future. I also need a good microphone for around 50$+, I'll just use windows 10 trial until I buy a key at Key shop. The reason why I'm building this PC because I am currently using a Sager NP8156 which was also recommended from this forum. Pairing i7 7700hq + gtx 1060 is okay for just playing casually, but I need more FPS + Streaming capabilites. My current build idea, Processor : Ryzen 2700X (This or 8700K ?) Motherboard : Asrock B450M Pro4 (Best Matx Mobo available) Graphics Card : Galax GTX 1080 EXOC SNPR (Cheapest available 1080 I can find, I can get a 1070ti for 30$ less but should I ?) RAM : Klevv 8GB DDR4 3000Mhz x 2 SSD : Moment MS13 240GB SSD HDD : WD Blue 1 TB PSU : Super Flower Silver Eco 600W Full Modular PSU Case : Fractal Design Meshify C Mini - Dark TG Monitor : Acer XF240H 144Hz All this for around 6300 MYR = 1530 USD. Should I wait for RTX? should I wait for 9th Gen intel? ._. Any advice or recommendation is welcomed, any help is much appreciated.
  5. Wow, how do you do this ? I tried using AF but it won't let me take pictures unless I pick AI Servo AF which gave me the same resutls as manual focus. I tried it, but it didn't do anything. if I use One Shot AF or AI AF it won't even do anything if i press the shutter release button and no warning. I tried to increase the F as @Hiya! said, and it gave me a clearer picture with MF or AI Servo AF. But it's still blurry. Thanks anyways guys
  6. I have tried auto mode and it's still the same results, I will try to clean the sensor once I'm able to. I'm just testing to see if it's able to become my backup camera, buying a new one soon. Thanks for the help. It failed to lock onto the flower pattern, I don't think the camera has ever been dropped before. But we have moved overseas 3 times since we bought the camera, maybe the last move broke the camera since it's was kept inside one of the moving boxes. Thanks for the help
  7. f4.5, I tried to make sure is properly focused. There's 3 AF modes which between them only 1 worked, which was the AI Servo AF. One shot AF and AI AF doesnt let me take any pictures which sometimes give me the BUSY warning. i tried Manual focus and AI servo AF but they gave me blurry images. which focus switch ? there's only 2 switches which is image stabilizer and Focus mode (MF/AF). this affects video recording too and gave me blurry results as well. I always leave the sensor cleaning function ON or are you referring to the hardware ? Sorry for the lack of details, I'll update my thread and upload some examples of the results.
  8. Guys, i took my parents canon 500D which have not been used in a long time. it's using the normal 18-55mm lens which came with it. I tried taking pictures with it but it keeps giving me blurry results, no matter the modes i picked or in any environment it still gives me a blurry result. if i look into the viewfinder it shows a clear sharp preview so i concluded that it might not be the hardware problem, help please. Examples of the result: Sorry for the lack of outdoor pictures, since I deleted them because they looked blurry.
  9. thanks for replying, I actually don't mind carrying big chunky laptops since i'm used to it already. I want more performance for my money and a cooler laptop. thanks for replying, yep. I'm looking for a laptop that's cool under stress, minimum graphics card would be the 1070, and possibly G-Sync thanks for replying, they don't sell those here :c. Currently available brands here are : - Asus (yes) - Aorus (maybe) - Alienware (just no) - HP (hmm, i'm not convinced) - Lenovo (hmhm) - Acer (idk) - MSI (yes) - Razer (if i had a PC i would get one of these)
  10. Hey guys, I'm planning get a gaming laptop since i usually spent my day in campus dan only use my hostel to sleep, I am currently deciding on which one should i get since the new line of GTXs just released i'm planning to pick one of them. As of right now there are only 2 brands that's available to pre order in the local store, MSI and Aorus. I'm planning to wait for ASUS to pop up if they have a more superior laptop. My budget is around 2800$, the options are these two for now: MSI GT72VR 6RE Pro Tobii specs: or Aorus X5 Plus V6 The only thing i'm worried is that the MSI doesnt include G-Sync in it's system. please tell me your opinions or if you have a better recommendation i'll consider it.
  11. Edited i guess 1080p is overkill for 980Ti, does refresh rate and response time matters for a 1440p screen ?
  12. Hi Guys, I'm planning to build a PC in early 2016 with a budget of 3000$(more or less, mostly more), however some of the money will be used to buy Corsair K70 RGB keyboard including a monitor (mouse, etc i already have them). I live in Indonesia, so some brands and models are not available. The prices here is also higher than what u guys get. But some prices are lower than u guys (maybe the some of the manufacturers are near my country). I just entered college this year and my major is Game Development, there will be a lot of designing, 3D works, and some of my own projects. I want this build to be able to do all that stuffs and heavy Gaming as well, i usually play games like Farcry, GTA, COD, BF4,etc (High-Ultra settings with 60+ FPS). i want this to be future proof as well. I dont know if i should get a 24 inch 1080P 144Hz, G-sync( is G-sync that important for Gaming ?), 1 ms response time Or a 1440P screen ? i had some candidates for the 1080p screens like Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q and BenQ XL2420G 144Hz 24.0" Monitor.Or Asus VG248QE is enough ? i don't really get why people buy multiple monitors and one will be enough for me. Should i get windows 8.1 or 10 ? will there be any driver problems if i get 10 ? Notes: - they don't sell EVGA PSUs here. Available brands are Corsair, Seasonic, enermax, NZXT, SuperFlower, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, Xigmatek, etc - idk what's the best 980Ti, Give me your personal reviews on yours - Watercooler or air ? - Why a sound card? some review of the motherboard reports that the soundcard from mobo is not that good EDIT: I might get this earlier than i thought, maybe before christmas Build : PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($341.98 @ Newegg) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($103.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($221.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Red 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury White 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($44.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($109.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($154.99 @ Newegg) Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB AMP!
