  1. Forgot to update this, bought a Hyper212X (same price as the evo, actually bought the x without realising) and everything seems to be running great, thanks again for the help. Some temps without load
  2. I'm pretty certain it's not the temp reader, but if so i have a second PC that i can put the new colder in anyway. Thanks for the help.
  3. Yep, been through this. Made sure its plugged in
  4. Hi, I've recently been having issues with my AIO waterpump, and am on the verge of switching to a hyper 212 evo, however before I make the purchase i want to make sure the pump control is not disabled in my Gigabyte BIOS. When trying to fix my issue i had restored optimized defaults but by no means a BIOS expert and have no idea where to find such a setting. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks. Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7 CPU Cooler: Zalman Reserator max 3 dual
  5. The fans detect the heat and spin up to 100%, but im not super experienced in BIOS and i'm not totally sure where to find these settings, not to mention that i dont particularly want to run this system for ages at 80C
  6. While that makes sense, I think i'll just switch to a hyper 212 evo as i'm kinda on a budget. I have another PC to put that into if i ever figure out how to fix this
  7. Hi, I made a thread about this before but in the wrong section. I've had my Zalman Reserator Max 3 Dual on an i7 4790k for about a year now, and it's been working fine. A few weeks ago, i took it out to clean it, but upon reinstallation i found that my temps had skyrocketed to 90 Celcius in BIOS. The computer boots fine and everything else works. I managed to fix it by giving it 12v and shaking it a bit, but skip forward two weeks and i have the issue again. I've replaced the thermal paste several times, the LED on the pump still lights and it still makes sound. The tubes are too thick to tell if water is moving inside, but the 240mm radiator is pushing out only cold air. Any help would be greatly appricated. Thanks
  8. There's only one header labeled "CPU_OPT"
  9. Hi, my system has been running fine for months with no issues regarding temps or cooling. Yesterday, i noticed my 240mm radiator for my AIO (Zalman Rezerator Max 3 Dual) was quite dusty, so i decided to dismantle and clean it out. Whilst cleaning, i knocked out the two connectors. After re-installation, i noticed things running slowly, and pilled up AIDA64 to find that my CPU was at 91 Celcius, yet only cold air was being pushed out of the rad. The LED still light up on the pump and the fans still spin, but clearly no heat transfer is happening. The cpu_opt header on my motherboard has 4 pins, but the cable from the waterblock only has 3, could this make a difference? I should also mention that it is able to post into windows and i can access BIOS. Any help would be appreciated. Specs: CPU: i7 4790k, GPU(s): 2x MSI 970s, CPU Cooler: Zalman Reserator Max 3 Dual, RAM: 16gb HyperX Beast DDR3 PSU: Antec 750w
  10. How do you know that they aren't responding
  11. In that case the issue is likely with your monitor. Check to see if it's on the right input. If it is, it could be the cable or an issue with your GPU
  12. Does it all stay on? Or does it turn off after a few seconds?
  13. Newer motherboards have a button or switch for it. If not, take out the battery and wait 5 Mins before reseating it.
