  1. Well put. Also, I want to add that the DX11 and DX12 nonsense about how the RX480 or 1060 does better in is completely false. They do just as well as each other in lots of AAA games combined. Don't let this confuse you on which one you want to purchase.
  2. I would just get what gtx1060=value would get. It's better to spend all your money on the actual PC and then spend money on monitor and peripherals later on.
  3. Logitech make the best gaming mouse out there right now. They beat both Corsair and Razer due to their top of the line sensors and design. People may disagree with me but most people would agree. I would get the Logitech G900 over any Razer gaming mouse. However, if you're planning to play competitively, I would rather get a Logitech G502, G403 or Pro. These are basically just wired versions of whats pretty much the same of the G900 in terms of specs... G900 is still very good and get that if you're really into wireless. The response time is the best we've had for a wireless gaming mouse. The only downside really is just charging it and stuff.
  4. Yeah! Although creative isn't known for the best sound systems, their speakers are definitely not bad. For the price, they're actually really good for what you get in terms of sound quality. So yeah. I would get these...
  5. Wow, people weren't lying when they said CPU prices don't drop... I wonder why...
  6. Looks good, but you can use the RX 480 if you want rather than a GTX 1060. But both are fantastic and you can't go wrong with either. You could also get a 4th gen i5 that can be overclocked as it will be around the same price like an i5 4690k.
  7. Please don't get those... You can tell they're unprofessional and probably don't even have a website. For one, it's hard to get a decent 2.1 speakers at all with a budget of £50. You should also aim to get just 2 stereo speakers without the need for a subwoofer with a budget that small. I suggest the Bose Companion 2 Series III if you look for them for cheap prices... The Logitech Z533 is 2.1 but is 100 pounds but theres the Logitech Z213 but they only sound 'average'...
  8. Volume 3 is the best out of the three by quite a bit... You should really watch it!
  9. Cuz Volume 4 came out but the website isn't working...
  10. I'm planning to overclock my MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Armor OC Edition GPU but don't know how high to go... Does anyone already know the approximate numbers for an MSI 1070 Armor OC edition for core and memory in MSI after burner? According to Heaven, I'm getting 1961MHz on Graphics and 4004MHz on memory. Thanks...
  11. Just want to say that you don't need an i7 6700 if you're only gaming since an i7 6700 will have basically the same performance as an i5 6600. Only do this if you want to save money and put it into other parts of your PC...
  12. Hmmm, I play Overwatch with my GTX 1070 and have found I can play at 50-70FPS at 4K at Ultra settings... You should be getting the same... I think you might have to update your Nvidia Drivers as you should be most definitely fine playing modern games at ultra settings at 1440p...
  13. 90-100% at 65 degrees... It's the only thing that's being properly used...
  14. 4K - GTX 980TI SLI Futureproofing and basically same performance - GTX 1070
  15. You're welcome! Hope you enjoy your new GPU when you get it!
  16. I had this issue and I spent months trying to figure out which one to get so I've been in the same position as you were... I've researched literally everything about it and I'm going to explain it in simple terms... They are both fantastic cards and are pretty much equal. However, the GTX 1060 gets higher frame rates in most games like Battlefield 1, Overwatch, GTA 5, Tomb Raider and more in both DX11 and DX12... The RX 480 however still does get better frame rates in games like Deus Ex, Quantum Break and, most noticeably, DOOM. The frame rate differs between resolutions and quality settings and can both be small differences and large differences... PLEASE DON'T GET CONFUSED WITH THE DX11 AND DX12 NONSENSE... Honestly, from what is shown, the GTX 1060 does better in a half of games than the RX 480 in both DX11 and DX12. This does not mean it's better. That's pretty much it but both are great choices. BTW 1060 can't do SLI but I'm sure you already knew that...
  17. So I bought Batman Arkham Knight and found that it's only using 40-50% of my GPU. I have a GTX 1070 and an Intel i5 4590 so it is more than enough to run it at max settings at 75fps (Which is my refresh rate of my monitor). When I'm playing, the temperature of my GPU only goes up to 55 degrees since only a small percentage of my gpu performance is used. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  18. Ok thanks, but I don't see why the resolution is dumb... It's simply just 21:9 at 60fps at 720p... It looks great!
  19. So I've been streaming at 1706:720 at 60fps (21:9 aspect ratio) recently and I've encountered little issues with it. However, whenever I use OBS (The streaming program I'm using) it says to lower my settings due to high encoding and CPU usage. I have heard that streaming can greatly decrease my CPU lifespan but I was wondering by how much since I've been streaming fine with little problems. My PC consists of: - i5 4590 - 10GB RAM - GTX 1070 - MSI Gaming Motherboard (Late 2014) Will this hurt my CPU, and/or other parts of my PC, and should I keep streaming at these settings or should I lower to 720p 30fps?
  20. Out of the three, what would you get and why?
  21. I already have some gaming headphones. I'm looking for non-gaming headphones that are purely concentrated on sound quality and comfort...
  22. I plan to get some new pairs of headphones around the £200 range. (But obviously would like the lowest possible price/performance) I'm looking for open over-ear headphones with sound that is exact to the original recording. If not exact, I would like something with punchy, but not loud, bass and good highs and mids (Obviously) with maybe a softer sound rather than sharp. Thanks.
  23. I'm planning to get a VR headset to go along with my GTX 1070 but can't decide between Oculus Rift or HTC VIVE. Money here isn't a problem as I can get either. I'm just concentrating on whats better in terms of performance, comfort, design, quality and others. Can you also say why one is better than the other? Thanks!
  24. Just a question out of curiosity. Why does buying a game cost significantly more than buying a movie? From my knowledge, average big budget movies cost a lot more to make than an average big budget game. Shouldn't the two prices be similar? I was thinking, maybe it's because making a game takes up a lot more storage, could be updated, smaller audience or has more "content" than a movie but, overall, movies tend to cost more in the long run, unless it's CS:GO or Overwatch where there are constant updates but then again, the Marvel Cinematic Universe consists of a lot of movies.
  25. Tomb Raider, Overwatch, Life is Strange, Skyrim, CSGO, ALL WORK!
