  1. Good question. ASUS Germany couldn't give me any details. Instead they asked me to send them an email with the details of what I wanted to do. With pictures of both the connector and the LED header on the graphics card... They would then ask ASUS Taiwan if it was possible to send me a patch or something. Quite weird if you ask me... Anyhow, I haven't had the time to do that, yet.
  2. I have the same hasrdware combination. Logically you would expect it to work. But, there is no light whatsoever. Called the ASUS support today, and they told me that the header doesn't control anything. I guess this is a known issue, since it says in EKs manual to connect the RGB to the mainboard.
  3. I'm going a bit off-topic, but how much of an GPU upgrade are we talking about? GTX 960? 970?
  4. Hi everyone, My 6 year old Samsung SyncMaster 2494hs is starting to turn itself off, so I guess it's time to think about a new display. I want something high quality with a sturdy feel to it and can still be used in a few years. Screen tearing drives me nuts, and I envy my wife for her IPS display. So, with a budget slightly under 1000 bucks, I'm thinking ASUS PG279Q, in Q4. BUT... I'm worried that I can't utilize its full potential with my PC. A list of the PCs parts: CPU: intel i7 2600k Mainboard: ASUS P8P67 Delux Rev 3.0 RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3 GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 660 Ti As you can see all parts are quite old and far from high end. What I need the display for (in order of preference): -Play games (mainly old stuff like Skyrim, but I'm really loking forward to the new Anno) -Programming -A little bit of graphic design Would you suggest a different display? Thanks in advance
