UPDATE:
I decided to boot into Safe Mode (Option 4) on advanced startup and tried to run Cinebench R15/R20/R23 to see if they opened and they actually did... so this lead me to believe it is caused by a driver or a background process (application). Rebooted into normal Windows 10 and tried running the program, with each succeeding failure to close another background application I have enabled at startup.
I hit the nail on the head and the issue is with MSI Afterburner and RTSS. After end tasking both applications, the program opens up as normal on the computer.
Unfortunately this didn't work for me :(

Does imgur still do it? Looks like they have removed that page from the site

It may get the job "done" but it doesn't do it very well.
Don't know about you, but in my experience (and others) it did a very good job
You may have gotten lucky but plenty of other people have had these power supplies fail on them taking power parts of there PC.
I would have considered myself lucky if I were the only one but no there are many more. I literally know atleast 8 people who are using this power supply ( and VS450), usage ranging from 1-3years, and have faced absolutely no problem with it.
A power supply is the ONLY part in your system that can take the whole PC out if it goes out. I'd rather no one take that chance with a power supply. Think about it this way, would cheap out on breaks for your car? No.
Trust me I know. A cheap PSU has died on me before, taking along the motherboard with, so I know how important it is.
But really, CX 430 is an exception within this cheap PSU category. It is highly reliable

BUMPing up this thread
I have exactly the same query as the OP + I need them for gaming, so which one is better between the 2 ?
Game that I'll be playing - GTA V, Witcher 3, CSGO, Fallout 4, some racing games etc
-
That is considered low end.
Yes theoretically, but practically it is sufficient and gets the job done

I highly do not suggest the Corsair CX430. They are mesnt for low end rigs and this may be low end he is adding a GPU and other thongs. They don't like temperstures above 30c and use bad Capacitors.
I disagree. I am using a CX430 right now and it has been great. I ran an i3 3220 with GTX 460 Hawk edition for more than 3 years without any problems and my PC runs 18X7 so you can see how reliable it is
Also I live in Delhi and in summers it gets very hot, so there is that

What is your budget for the whole upgrade ?
I am from India too so you can mention it in INR

@OP - What is the monitor you are using ?
-
Fallout 3/NV for sure.
Does background music count ? Remember me has some awesome background music

I said i just want a headset ! No mic dosent Matter if Its not gaming !
You mean headphone right ?
Try Sennheiser HD 419/429
-
Thanks for the reply ?
I'm not amazed by my 449, soundstage not large, upper midrange wonky. I would expect the Clouds to be better.
What about 419/429/439 ? I am assuming these are inferior to 449 ?

Ignoring the mic for the moment, which one of those headphones is best for gaming ? Will be mainly playing these games - CSGO, GTA V and Fallout 4
Also I don't have a soundcard, so on-board audio will be used. My motherboard - Biostar H61MU3
