  1. I think I removed the peel on the shield when I first built it even though I wasn't using a nvme, I figured it would be fine since its just like a thermal pad under it and it just has some dust on it but I've seen some posts that say otherwise.
  2. I have a RX 580 and for 6 months or so the card would idle around 54C and the fans would start spinning at 55C. I never touched the fan settings or tried OCing so I noticed around a week go after closing a game or closing anything thats causing a heavy load the fans will keep spinning for a minute or 2 even into the normal idle temps down until its cooled into the 30/40C and the temps will drop very quickly so from like 75C to 55C in seconds but I'm not sure if it always did that or not. I know the 2019 Adrenalin drivers messed with alot of peoples cards but I even rolled back and this is still happening. I haven't noticed any game performance issue or overheating, just curious if this a sign of the card failing in anyway since it started happening out of nowhere.
  3. I bought a seasonic focus plus a few months ago and today after I finished cleaning out my pc and flicked the power switch on the psu and boot my pc it didn't actually power on until about 4-6 seconds later. After messing around with it it seems if I try to power on my pc right after hitting the power switch on on the psu it'll be a delayed start but if I give it a few seconds it'll power on instantly like normal. Is this a sign of it being faulty or normal?
  4. thanks for the replies, just curious is it normal for my monitors to both be on during bios boot? Like my second monitor becomes a mirror to my first with where my mouse moves and such.
  5. I was going to update my B360M Bazooka mobos bios and as I downloaded the update I was going to move it to my thumb drive but I accidentally opened the .exe file and it ran while in windows. It locked my mouse and keyboard and said please wait 1 or 2 minutes and it seemed to update, after rebooting the msi logo and bios screens were showing on both of my monitors when it used to only be one and the version is the latest. Everything seems to be fine, I tried to flash bios properly but it won't let me do anything with the file.. maybe because its already the latest version I don't know. Do I need to be concerned about anything, some bios settings changed like it opened up in advanced mode and XMP was disabled but thats all I noticed.
  6. So I have 3 front panel fans and I noticed when I was looking behind the fans that one of them has a slight wobble but it doesn't make any noise. Can this be ignored or will it cause issues with the fan later if I do?
  7. I purchased this monitor to use with my rx 580 to try freesync, now I tried it out in a few games and it seems like its not working. I assumed it would cap my fps at 75 as thats the hertz of the monitor but I was still over 100 fps and seeing screen tearing. It's in fullscreen and I have it enabled in radeon settings, I'm not sure what else I'm missing. Now I have it hooked up with a hdmi which its compatible with but the only thing I can think of is if I needed a new version HDMI since this is a old one from a cable company I had. I also tried using FRTC and limited my fps to 72 and after I did that I had no screen tearing and vsync wasnt on, Does that mean free sync is actually working and the hdmi is fine? Sorry if this sounds scattered brained I just dont know what the fuck I'm doing.
  8. I have been having some weird issues with my internet net dropping since the threshold 2 update on W10 and I think it might be due to a driver issue. However I'm having trouble finding what driver is mine on the website. the two drivers in my device manager are Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter (Version 6.30.223.256) Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet (Version 15.6.1.3) https://www.broadcom.com/support/ This is where I'm looking I thought my driver would be under Ethernet NIC NetLink® 57xx but my driver version is newer than the one they have, so I'm not sure. The drivers I have now were installed through the windows update, I'm running W10 64bit.
  9. i5 2320, I usually always keep a eye on my cpu and memory usage and never noticed it going high at all, but I haven't been watching it over the past week until today and now shit is just sky rocketing for some reason.
  10. yeah i tried rebooting multiple times, only thing that runs at startup is avast. no norton.
  11. So I've had win10 since release, and nothing ever even took more than like 5% cpu, and today spotify is using 30%, firefox is jumping around 15 to 30%, my games are taking around 40%. I havent seen any new windows updates, was anything changed to cause this or what could cause this? The only thing I downloaded lately was a nvidia update and I reinstalled the driver and the problem is still there, I thought maybe windows defender could be the issue so I switched to avast and its still here. I've scanned for viruses and malware everythings clean.
  12. It never goes that high except when I game, for example after playing DayZ for about 20 minutes System will be around 1900MB and dayz will sit at around 800mb. Is this something I should look into or is it running normally?
  13. When I started up dayz it jumped over 1000 mb, now with League of Legends up its around 700mb. Is that normal for it to be that high in games?
  14. I need to redownload a win7 iso, so I got the en_windows_7_home_premium_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_676549.iso file from http://mirror.corenoc.de/digitalrivercontent.net/ and downloaded it with a torrent. Now I used MD5checker and it checked out with da319b5826162829c436306bebea7f0f and I used a HashCheck shell extension and it checked out with 6c9058389c1e2e5122b7c933275f963edf1c07b9 Both these seem to be legit, is there anything else I need to check out?
