Equinoxe's Achievements

  1. General gaming. Mainly. Maybe some editing on the side.
  2. Don't get the wrong idea as arguing, but how is it terrible? Can you explain?
  3. Cousin is buying the parts (I'm building). Need Opinions! I threw this together to keep in his price range. Keep in mind, the reason why it's so much for a first build is because he will need a few peripherals. Originally ~$730 USD. So tell me, what can I change, but keep it in this $980 budget, but make it better for him?
  4. Couple of things. M-ATX is not the best. Try to go for an ATX if it can fit you budget. G Skill Ripjaws are not reliable from what I heard. Try to go for Kingston Beast. (If Fits Budget) Try to go for a 600w - 650w PSU. I know a little more, but better safe than sorry. if you can. (not saying you should) go for a GTX 770. Nvidia has been proven to be "better" in some cases. Better for video editing, and great at gaming as well. And of course, make sure it fits budget. Everything else looks good. Gonna be a nice PC.
  5. Yeah, I know its a bit overkill, but better safe the sorry am I right? lol And i might want to game at something a little higher than 1080p, but, Im game with 1080p.
  6. I see where you are going. i was going to get 32gb to keep it "future proof". Yes, I am a light user who streams and would love to do youtube again, but not as hardcore. Streaming is almost a day-to-day thing. Maybe 16gb will suit my needs for these, and hold off on the 32gb. Thanks again!
  7. Well, hello fine people of the internet. I made a decision over the months to change/upgrade from the rig I have now. I need your help to suggest any changes to make to the rig I have put together. It will be used for gaming/video editing, but mostly gaming, as that's what its built for. So, here is the list. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2Fd75 With all that said, hopefully this will please you all, as it's not "expensive", and it gets the job done! Edit: Much Appreciated if you comment on what to change, or add to make this about under, and no more than $2300. UPDATE: Added and Removed a few things. What would you all think of this one? Decided to change Budget BTW. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Eqwinoxe/saved/3wau Changed a lot of parts...Just saying. NOTE: This PC is not going to be built for like another year. Some prices may vary. Just wanted you guys opinion to see if this is the correct one. I have 2 others that I out together, that I going to link to just see if you want ideas for other builds! Codename: Venom: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Eqwinoxe/saved/2qpb Umm...Dont ask.: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Eqwinoxe/saved/2V40 All of these are something that will please the soul, Hopefully. Cheers!
  8. So your saying, that Python will be the best to get into C++ programming eh'? Well, good thing is, that I really want to get into C++, so yeah, Python might help! Thanks!
  9. I was wonder from you all people that what would be a good language to use to get a sucessful INDIE game up and running? I heard LUA, but people said there is better. I wanted your opinion on what to use, and where to get lessons to learn, and to touch up more. Thanks for the help! ~Equinoxe
