  1. Wow [emoji54] THANK YOU really appreciate it someone from EK replied wasn't expecting this. Yea the extenders are wide then go narrow into G1/4 thread I did notice this, while stop plugs and fittings are not wide from the top are only G1/4 so there is a gap for water to escape.
  2. I can send it back to EK but what if the same problem happens with the replacement one ? to be honest might not even be a problem maybe this is the way they are meant to be.
  3. This is what am trying to find out if this is actually a common problem with all the XE series radiators or which use extenders? Because as I mentioned once the extenders were back on no water was coming out .
  4. Thanks for that, yea should actually highlight it in RED on their website! I know people won't take them off but then again you never know they actually provide the allen key to take them off with. [emoji53] I got lucky that I was flushing the radiator and found out.
  5. Hi, did you read everything above? The radiator is not leaking now with the extenders back on.
  6. Ok I have a EK CoolStream XE 480 Radiator while flushing it I took off the 2 EK Extenders and put on 2 stop fittings I started shaking the radiator and water started to come out of the sides mostly from the corners of the radiator? I thought this was definitely a LEAK coming from the radiator. Anyways I put the extenders back on the radiator and I thought I should give it another try with the stop fittings this time on the extenders I started shaking the radiator and NO water was coming out from the corners this time? I carried on shaking for at least 10 minutes but no water coming out. The only thing I can think of is you have to use the extenders and can't take them off and put the fitting on direct to the ports if anyone has had the same problem or you know about this please shed some light on this thanks.
  7. My current CPU voltage is at 1.25v and temps am getting is 68c with room temp at 26c.
  8. Hi, when you "increasing ram to 2GB per thread" how do you do that?
  9. Had a question regarding cinebench and my CPU score for my I7 5960x overclocked to 4.6GHz. Basically am getting a score between 1710 to 1725 last one was 1722. This seems low to what I have seen online on other forums for a I7 5960x I mean I seen a 4.5GHz overclock score go over 1800. Also noticed my score drops to like 1500 when a web browser is open.
  10. Yes thanks for that, just went into BIOS and when I disable Turbo Boost the CPU ratio goes to Auto but as soon as I put in 46 for 4.6GHz overclock the Turbo Boost enables itself automatically seems like Turbo Boost has to stay enabled.
  11. Sorry I know your explaining it right but I don't seem to understand when you say "overclocked the CPU using Turbo"
  12. Yes Turbo boost is enabled, so disabling it will show the actual overclock in BIOS?
  13. I overclocked my I7 5960x to 4.6GHz on a Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard but in the BIOS on the top right hand side the CPU speed is showing as 3.6GHz? However in CPU-Z the speed does show as 4.6GHz? even in another 2 softwares the speed is showing as 4.6GHz but just not in BIOS.
