Yeah, I saw about the flicker problem, but it should be fixed. I would be buying on Amazon, so if any problem happens with whichever monitor I buy, I can return it. I assume you vote for the VA? I will check the Acer response times, as I haven't found anything abouth the iiyama, but supposedly, it shouldn't have that much smearing or ghosting.

Hi! I'm deciding between these monitors. The Xiaomi is 70€ cheaper (400 vs 470) but has VA panel vs the IPS panel in the iiyama, I'm worried about the smearing. The iiyama has a flat planel, is it better curved or flat? Almost all of the monitors that I saw are curved. In 16:9 I would have chosen flat, but in ultrawide... Which one would you choose?
