If i were you, I would go for a higher quality supply and a lower end, maybe Haswell CPU. That extra CPU power won't help you anywhere and a i5 4460 is probably a better way to go, just because you can get a better GPU because of the leftover cash.

Will an MSI or Sapphire 390x BIOS work with my r9 390? I am trying to unlock some of the cores on my powercolor r9 390.

I am trying to install a 390x bios onto my powercolor r9 390. will any bios work or do i need one from a powercolor card. I can't find one specifically for powercolor.

HW locks: 4 (R/O) / SW locks: 0 (R/W). Sorry, all 4 disabled CUs can't be unlocked by BIOS replacement. But I have heard of people who have unlocked their cards when the program spits this out. My card has dual bios so I can always boot from the other chip if I screw up. Is it possible for me to unlock those 4 cores?

Why are you getting the 6600k? It'll save you money to fork out the cash and just plain get the 6700k instead of upgrading later. -

4gb of VRAM is really enough for most things these days, as long as you stick to 1080p. Higher resolutions may need some more video buffer as each frame is at a much higher resolution and uses more of the card's VRAM.
