  1. I posted this in Displays but I am not too sure where it belongs. Recently I made my parents a new PC ( https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/4BwMZR ) it all works fine but then they wanted to be able to also connect it to their 1920x1080p 50 inch Vizio tv. The monitor they are using is the LG 29UM59-P Black 29 (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824025554&ignorebbr=1). Off of the integrated graphics on the mobo the monitor is being run off the HDMI 2.0 and the tv is being run off the normal HDMI. The problem is that when the computer is plugged into the tv the monitor defaults to 1920X1080 and not 2560x1080 , is there anyway to change this? Thanks

  3. What is the better option the M5 Pro for a bit more or Shark 4? I already have a gaming PC so I feel the Shark 4 will be a solid choice for University and should handle the programs that I will need for engineering and get me through the occasional gap in classes. Can you only order the Shark 4 through Eurocom directly?
  4. Did you keep the optical drive?
  5. What do you think is the best config?
  6. The EUROCOM Shark 4 looks like a good deal is there any downsides like size and weight?
  7. Ya I am only looking for a 1080p laptop, there is no use of a 4k display if i can not run it. That model is not in Canada
  8. I am going into first year engineering and am looking for an affordable gaming laptop that is also sleek and is not too bulky or tries to show off but can handle games for a time to time LAN party. For reference I live in B.C and at max am willing to spend around $1500.
