  1. I'm back for a quick update, I'm going to have stop reposing every time I add one more drive but this is a bit of a bigger upgrade! Hardware CASE: Dell 12-Bay 2U MB: 3CESL1 CPU: Dual Opteron 2373 Quads HS: OEM w/ added fans RAM: 64GB ECC DDR2 RAID CARD: PERC H310 SSD: SanDisk 120gb HDD: 6x4TB RED 24TB Total Software and Configuration: Win Server 2012R2 Drivepool Usage: Plex, IIS, VMWare, IRC, OwnCloud, Backups, Game Servers Backup: Crashplan Additional info: LACKRACK! Photo's:
  2. Adding to my previous post Well that filled up quickly, had to shove another 4TB drive in, probably the last space upgrade in a while, decided to get a new cpu, mobo+ram instead. 20TB raw! Having to use the drive packaging as mounts until the rest of my SEDNA stands come  Have some LQ photos!
  3. My oldest is just shy of 25k hours, you have me beat by quite a bit!
  4. Ginnungagap 16TB of storage teetering on edge I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. So my 'server' is a bit amateur, but sharing funds between that and my other pursuits is hard Hardware CASE: Silverstone Milo ML04B PSU: 300W SFX MB: GA-J1900n-d3v CPU: Celeron J1900 HS: Passive, onboard RAM: 4GB DDR3L RAID CARD: Semlos Sil3114 SSD: Kingston v300 120gb HDD: 4x4TB RED 16TB Total Software and Configuration: Running windows server 2008R2, no arrays as of yet. I occasionally scrape for all filenames just incase, most is replacable. what's left is backed up externally. Usage: Plex Server, OwnCloud, Steam IHS (rarely), IIS. Backup: Investing in CrashPlan Additional info: Next step is to get a new case and more drives, move away from Windows and make use of ZFS. Photo's: This is a (relatively) old photo, the drives are now mounted using SEDNA rubber stands, they stack quite well and fit the case perfectly. I also improved my cable management A picture of the case, since I don't have one:
