  1. Sound like you two are on the same page, so I guess the right thing would be to keep the initial setup and: - Have the 3x 120mm in the front pull air inside - Have the 1x 140mm in the rear push air out - Install the Nepton 240M in the top, pulling air out Thank you for your responses guys
  2. So should I just change the front fans, or switch the back configuration as well? And do you think the extra fan in the top, will make a difference?
  3. I will try not to ! So the ideal would be to replace the front with three SP fans for pull, and 1 AF extra in the top? Reversing the rear to a pull? Edit: Or did you mean my initially planned configuration?
  4. Hey guys! I am right about to make my first well-informed build (tonight or tomorrow), and was wondering about fans and fan setup. I have the following: 1x NZXT H440 Front: 3x 120mm FN V2 (stock) Rear: 1x 140mm FN V2 (stock) 1x CM Nepton 240M Included: 2x 120mm I was planning of configuring the fans like this: - Have the 3x 120mm in the front pull air inside - Have the 1x 140mm in the rear push air out - Install the Nepton 240M in the top, pulling air out My concerns/questions is: 1. Will I be able to maintain positive air pressure with this setup? 2. Should I change the rear to intake instead so I have 4 pull and 2 push? 3. If 2, should I add a third 120mm pulling at the top, beside the two on the radiator? 4. Since the front of the case is so chocked, should I get SP fans instead? If so, which ones, and can they be silent? My full build looks like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LNkjMp (Allready bought it) Please note that I plan to add a second GPU in the future, and possibly minor overclocking Any input much appreciated!
  5. Ok guys, thank you all for participating, I will stay with my first intuition and get the EVGA 750W G2 I'm really happy for all of your inputs, every post is much appreciated ! I've marked the question answered Take care all
  6. Nwm, I can just unpack the cooler when I get home tonight [emoji2]
  7. My planned case comes with 4 fans, and the CPU cooler has 2. Do I need fan connectors for all six of them?
  8. That was my initial thought as well, but it seems people have a lot of different opinions on that matter A solid quality 750W might be the way to go after all
  9. I must have missed the audio chip, that definitely seems to be a plus it the Pro Gamers favor For aesthetics I haven't settled on either
  10. That seems quite reasonable to be fair :-) Thanks for the input
  11. I am actually only getting a single 970, but I want the possibility to upgrade to SLI at some point, which I though would have an effect on which MOBO to choose
  12. Hey all ! Just a quick question, I apologize if it doesn't deserve it's own topic. I am building the following for gaming: CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($214.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($146.98 @ Newegg) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($363.98 @ Newegg) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($363.98 @ Newegg) Case: NZXT H440 (White/Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($93.99 @ SuperBiiz) Power Supply: EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($106.99 @ SuperBiiz) I was wondering if I should change the MOBO to a Z97-Pro Gamer instead? The price is the exact same in my area. I am having a hard time figuring out if there is any difference between them, that might be relevant. Any help appreciated // Laschnapp
  13. Sounds good, thanks a lot I'll go for the EVGA 850W G2 if I can find it in my area at a reasonable price then
  14. Ok, that makes sense :-)Would that cover potential OC of both GPU's and the CPU as well?
