  1. It has occurred to me that mp4 and every other video format can't sync over all the devices (ipad, macbook, iphone) through Photos app. (But it can over icloud, just not in the Photos app itself) Allegedly, it syncs only video shot on iphone. However I'd like my GOPRO videos to sync in Photos app so I can have everything in one place along side my photography work. (Like google photos) Is there a way to accomplish this? Cheers
  2. No I upgraded. That's my old system. Now I'm in the market for a new monitor. I was thinking about 4k60hz and QHD144hz. All my friends keep pushing 144hz, but in my scenario I think 4k60hz makes more sense. Especially because I use a Lightroom a lot. Just wanted to check. Thanks
  3. Title says it all. Does it make sense? My friends swears by 144hz in every case. I'm only playing slow paced RPG and strategy games like witcher, kingdom come, total war etc. I don't play multiplayer or FPS because I hate people.

  5. Go for am4 and 3700x. GTA and some of the things you mentioned are very CPU dependant. By doing this you're going to be future proof for years
  6. Yeah, I've no idea what constitutes a good MoBo. Can someone clue me in? Is there any real difference between RAM speeds? I know there's always something coming. However my question is anything worthwhile coming anytime soon?
  7. I recently moved from playing older games to newer (2015 and newer) and I can see in the MSI Afterburner that often my ram is at 95% capacity, my CPU @ 100% and my GPU is barely 50-60% loaded. That causes terrible stuttering, terrible 1%lows and breaks the immersion. However, my question is should I wait for this new AMD CPU line up? I heard it's going to use AM4 as well or do I upgrade now. I'm playing @ 1440p 60hz My current setup is CPU: i5-4460 RAM: 8GB @ 1600mHz DDR3 Storage: 120GB SSD + 1,5TB HDD MBO: Asrock h81m-HDS GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 Super I'm thinking of upgrading to CPU: 3700x RAM: 16GB @ 3200mHz DDR4 Storage: 480GB SSD + 120GB SSD + 1,5TB HDD MBO: Gigabyte Aorus B450 GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 Super *I'm transfering my GPU and storage from my old PC Long story short: should I just upgrade now or is there something on the horizon worth waiting for.
  8. Hi everyone. I decided to buy a headset which I want to use only on my PC. I've thought about getting one headphones for everything such as Sony XM3, but i've heard it's bad for playing games and wathcing videos because of latency. I've read couple of the review websites, but I trust the consumers the most. I need comfortable headset for my PC. Audio quality is very important, I'll use them for videos, music and games. That being said I don't need a microphone, because I don't play multiplayer games. I only play strategy and RPGs. Wireless is prefered because I hate cables, however I'm not ready to sacrifiy audio quality if there's a big difference. So far I've looked into HyperX cloud II and Steelseries Arctis 7. I'm open to suggestions
  9. What I do: - I'm an amateur photographer and I edit photos in Lightroom. - I play games like total war, Civ, Witcher 3, Fallout, Skyrim (No multiplayer or FPS whatsoever) Should I go for 4k 60HZ or 144hz. My friends says 144hz looks nicer in every way, but most of games I'm playing won't benefit from higher FPS, atleast that's what I think. What about Ultrawide? is it an option these days?
  10. I'm in need of a laptop so I've come down to choose between these two Asus zenbook 14 UX433FA and Apple Macbook Air (2019). Here's the short version. - never used Apple products - I have Samsung S10e and Samsung Galaxy watch and I don't plan to switch to Iphone or Apple watch - I will use it for general stuff, web, movies and Adobe Lightroom since I'm amateur photographer and this is the most important function. - I heavily rely on Google photos, maps, drive etc Both of them cost the same since they are on discount right now. The difference being that I get 256gb NVME SSD and i5 in ASUS and only 128gb/ dual core in Apple. What do you guys think?
  11. I have disabled sync and turned on "intelligent power managment" or whatever it's called. We'll see what it does, if it doesn't get better then the phone is useless. Medium to heavy use will drain it in three hours. I never had these kind of problems on Xiaomi Mi A1 with the 3000 mAh battery. I almost got day and a half from it. BTW this is how it looks like for past couple of hours. I unplugged it at 95%.
  12. I recently upgraded from Xiaomi Mi A1 to Samsung S10e because I need a better and smaller phone. However, I noticed that it has terrible battery life. My phone literally went through 40% of battery in three hours of light use. What the? Is Samsung this bad or there's something seriously wrong. I use exynos version. What gives?
  13. true. But do I really need for Lightroom and general use?
  14. Hello everyone. I'm looking to buy a laptop for Lightroom and general use. I'm looking for 8gb RAM 256gb SSD 13'' or 14'' at most. What do you think? Will i3 cut it or is it too much of a compromise? Naturally, I'm looking to spend the least amount of money possible while getting the specs I need. So far I have narrowed the choice to Asus Zenbook UX430UA with i5-8250 Lenovo Ideapad 320s with i3-7200. Specs are identical apart from the processor and the fact that Asus has 14'' screen in 13'' footprint, however it's about 250 dollars more expensive. What do you think?
