  1. My specs: CPU: FX-6300 @ stock settings Graphics Card: Gigabyte R9 290 Windforce @ stock settings PSU: CX600 Motherboard: MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) There are my specs. It's not my PSU. I was hoping that someone on this site was actually using an R9 290 as well as a 760g chipset motherboard.
  2. My PSU can handle the r9 290. I'm tired of people typing that. That's why it's hard to pinpoint problems. Everyone believes it's the PSU, but in reality it's something else. If I listed my PSU, the only thing you all will recommend me to do is to buy a new PSU that has more wattage. I've done stress-testing with both my CPU + GPU at the same time, while at full load, yet my system never turns off. It mainly turns off when I'm trying to play games, or watching a youtube video at 1440p(sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.)
  3. That's not the cause of my problem. My PSU can handle an r9 290. I believe it's the 760g chipset and I've come across a few threads of 760g and r9 290 owners complaining of the same problems.
  4. Problems such as: computer rebooting constantly driver crashing freezing etc Edit: If so, you should purchase a motherboard with a different chipset and see if it's any different. I believe the reason you're having this problem is because of your motherboard.
