Hey guys so i have recently moved rooms and i wanted to take my router with me tot he new room but i cant. Apparently time warner cable only activates the jack in a specific room, so i called them and asked them if they could activate the jack on my new room and they said sure for $69.99 and i was not paying that amount of money instead i decided to hop on ebay and buy a 50ft ethernet cable for $3 and routed the cable through my wall, it was all great until my dog chewed it this has happened 2 times so i have started to think i need a new solution. What do you guys recommend should i go for a cheap wireless card ? i do a lot of video uploading and play tons of games. thanks for anyone that can help me or give me some advice.
