  1. Didn't work. Even disabled it through chrome. Restarting the browser doesn't work, ublock turns back on.
  2. Don't see how un/re installing it helps, as this is a new PC. Did it anyway for shits and giggles and as I thought, no change. Yep, tried Firefox and Edge (don't know why I said bing) as well. They behave the same way. It sounds like it's something with this OS. Don't recall having this issue on previous PC. Update: Can access my credit card site now. Both on Firefox and Chrome. Still can't use UPS tracking on either.
  3. Anybody else got an idea? Also, it has trouble accessing my credit card site. Says: "Your account cannot currently be accessed. Outdated browsers can expose your computer to security risks. To get the best experience on Discover.com, you may need to update your browser to the latest version and try again." Even though it's updated to the latest version.
  4. Yeah, I have ublock origin. That was the first thing I thought of, turning it off has no effect. Also cleared its cache, still no change. Cleared cookies/cache on chrome, no change.
  5. Hello all, Recently built a new system and an issue has come up. Can't figure out if there is something I forgot to install/update or what. Previous PC was using Windows 10, this new PC is using 11. Doesn't work on Chrome or Bing, but I can use the same link on my phone and it works. So it's something specific to this PC. It won't load tracking links. I click a UPS tracking link (from my email) and a new tab opens, but it's just a white page. Any ideas on where I screwed up?
  6. Nevermind.... Updating windows to 23H2 fixed it.
  7. No idea. Every computer I've built/upgrade didn't any issues in device manager, until this one. So I don't have experience with this.
  8. Built a new system today and looked into device manager to see if there are any errors. There's one in other devices. Which says, "PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller". Would updating the BIOS fix this or is this another driver I have to update?
  9. Bought it at the end of October and from a third party. I'm assuming retail, product page doesn't say which. Ended up working out anyway. Under the activation window there is the option to call. Did that and the automated system sent me a text that had me type in a ID code that my PC had. Was able to activate it!
  10. Built a new system and when trying to activate it says this product key was already used on another PC (Error code: 0xC004C008). I bought a Windows 11 key w/usb from Amazon and this is the first time using it. I'm going to try to activate over the phone to see if that helps. If not ill probably have to buy another license. If that happens, is it possible to return it to Amazon? Will they accept it?
  11. Nevermind, seems reinstalling it worked. This time I selected to delete browser files.
  12. Built a new system today and everything went great until getting to chrome. Was able to sync and import my bookmarks while installing. Don't know what I did or didn't do, but now it won't sync or let me visit any website. Keeps saying: "website" unexpectedly closed the connection. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED Thankfully I was able to import my bookmarks into Bing and still visit those websites. So that tells me it's something with Chrome. I don't know if it matters but for some reason windows does not like my product key. Says it was installed on another computer, even though the package was sealed.
  13. Was looking for opinions on this build. It's replacing my current PC, as it's on its way out. (Thought it was a bad motherboard, but still behaves poorly. I'm sure it's the graphics card at this point. Already spent $300 on new board, new GPU replacement is as much as a current gen card.) I'm trying for gaming in 2k with two monitors. I plan on reusing my two monitors, current case, and one of my SSD's as a boot drive. Plan on buying another SSD for games. 14. Don't think it's CPU as it did well on prime85 and OOCT tests. Was able to do them and stay at a good temperature. Same for the RAM and SSD, as they both passed their respective windows diagnostic tests. I'm leaning towards the motherboard being the culprit. The weird booting behavior (monitors shutting off and disabling keyboard on boot) regardless if the GPU is installed in the system or not. Also iCue takes several seconds to detect the board itself but detects the mouse and AIO immediately.
