  1. i have used it in different system, with no issues. different usb port with same issue. I havent tested it on another windows 10 machine because i only have 1 pc running it currently. sounds like this guys beep but only does it once at a time as volume goes up or down.
  2. I am stumped on this one. I have a usb blue snowball microphone that never had this issue on 8.1. While I'm talking on the mic sometimes it just cuts out for a minute or longer and eventually restores itself. Tried reinstalling usb mic drivers but made no difference. On windows 8.1 the usb drivers listed as blue snowball on windows 10 they just list as usb recording device. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. Blue snowball doesn't offer drivers they simply say to use windows default. But I have another minor issue so next I'm going to try reinstalling audio drivers too. Other issue is when using the volume wheel on my logitech keyboard my monitors flicker in and out only while using that volume wheel never seen this before and windows 10 makes a "ding" sound as they flicker in and out.
  3. I have 24gb of ram and never any issue with windows 8 I was playing a game called pirates of the burning sea. Only to get off and see 90 percent of ram was used. Checked performance manager system was using most at only 4gb. Is there some sort of memory leak on windows 10, or is it caching it in some way. Or is it just that game in particular? Please help.
  4. I have a pc case that one if the locking plastic tabs has broken off its the one up towards the top so it doesn't really support it very well anymore. I was trying to brainstorm some ideas to hold it into place I don't have the clip to glue back onto it or I would try that. I thought about bonding the bezel to the chassis but then If I need to removed it for any reason that may make it difficult I don't know if anyone any little quick fixes that might hold it in place?
  5. Has anyone ever tried one of the quad monitor stands with two left two right? I have seen a bunch that show the stand centered with monitors ser towards you almost in the shape of a "V" where as you technically don't have a monitor centered in from of you more like your center mark would be the inner edges of the monitors if this makes sense. Now here is what I'm trying to figure out... If anyone knows. Will one of these that has adjustable arms with what appears to be middle joints and pivots for an adjustment allow me to say have the two right monitors centered in front of me with the two on the left being angled inward so that my primary gaming monitor is right in front of me? I only use one monitor for gaming and feel this setup would be kind of a nuisance for me if I'm unable to have my primary monitor centered at a good viewing angle for me. I have seen others that are 3 bottom 1 top center for quad which in theory would be more practical for having one centered in front of you. But I don't use all for gaming so it would be kind of pointless to pay double the price for that quad stand if this other one would still be functional.

  7. Yeah I already have the 5675. I was just hoping to throw it in. I have seen a couple lga 1366 that seemed kinda new link a rampage 3 and a sabertooth but are about $400 each in lga 1366.
  8. I'm looking to see if anyone has, or knows of a good source for a x58 non oem board. Like for the i7s (not a workstation usual board) that can support the hexacore westmere xeons out of the box. Only place I have found any are in ebay... but at the prices I've seen most of them it would be easier just go with a lga 2011 Please don't suggest another board or say to fo with something different. I'm looking for one particularly because I want to play around with a x5675 I recieved. I want to play around with it for a build idea. Thanks.
  9. Okay... now here's the trick question when I buy whichever of the 2 I ultimately decide upon which display port cable should I go with? I don't want to buy El cheapo and it actually hinder the quality with either noise or interference.
  10. I'm probably going to go with the Asus it's a bit cheaper. I've never actually owned a Ben-Q the reviews seem good but that model is around $25 more and I am unfamiliar with that company.
  11. Most definitely... This is how I use a 3 display setup I don't use all 3 for gaming.
  12. Looking for a new display for pc gaming... I've been looking around online on amazon, etc... but A LOT of descriptions leave out refresh rates rather intentional or unintentionally. I'm just looking for a good 120hz or more with quick response time. I know Asus makes some and Ben-Q... but I'm not sure which particular model to look into or if there's another brand that may be a bit cheaper but still very good.
  13. Yeah, I would try overclocking it... because really there's not any viable upgrades from the 8320 in AM3+ That would be worth your time except an 8350, or 8370... but your chip is so close to those its not even worth it. If you cant achieve any performance or enough in overclock grab an i7-4790k, and an Z97 board... You will be happy you did. I just went from an AMD 8350 Build to a i4790k... and its much more pleasant to use.
  14. Just some benchmarks that have been regarding temperatures so as you can see this chip gets pretty hot, but its not really all that uncommon for laptop cpus to get high temps. I believe the TJMax is 100c so after that point it should throttle itself back.
