  1. Today I have 3x22" 60 hz, 1440p, 16/10, > 5 ms monitors. This is fine for my current runing when I play Project cars or simular. My problem is that when playing FPS like battelfield 5 I would like to upgrade to a min 1440 144hz 1ms display. I like playing with 3 screens in BF5 to. I have an Aorus 1080TI WB Easy solution was to get 3 identical displays, but then the cost add up to much. Get one. And accept to play on one screen when playing BF5. And exchange the screens to play PCars Get an ultra wide screen? Get an ultra wide and use the 2 of the existing to have as "side windows" Is it posible to get some screens to fit with the existing in the higth ... Any surgestions or test I need to se? Buget is: I can pay for quality but 80% quality is good for me, if the last quality comes for a premium price.
  2. I have been serching high an low for at clue to what I should do. I like to play games like NFS Shift 2 (old days). Project cars., F1 2017 and battlefield 4. I have not been playing for ½ year. the reason is that I have studder in game more than low FPS(40-55 depending on game and settings) My monitors are 3x 22" 1920*1200 60Hz. RES will than max be 5760*1200. I can live with setting on 3x1680*1050 CPU: I5-4670K @ stoc, watercooled so can be OC @10%+ GPU: 2x6990 1@artic twin turbo accelreo 1@ watercooled, both @ stoc, can be OC SSD 250GB 850 4x4GB DDR3 @ 2333MhZ Bottleneck as I see it, is the 4x GPU's proberly most the 2GB VRAM?? I have looked at http://thebottlenecker.com/ but it is usless for my build with 3 screens as it does not take in the accound for the high res "3,33K". what Should I upgrade? I am not after a new build @ 1500$+ under 1000$ is a must. 500$ is better as I only play 4 times a month. I am looking at getting a 1080TI as i have the 11Gb VRAM and not the 1070TI With 8GB. even there is a big $$ difference. is this a correct asumption?
  3. For info I can run Project Cars at 60 FPS (Vsync) at 3 screens 5040x1050 or 5992x1200 at 30FPS both at medium setting. on a ATI 6990. my atvise is go for 144Mhz for CS GO and FPS games. go for 3 screen setup for Racing games.
  4. GPU scaling.. I dont understand if you mean that I should use this? is it because it is not worth getting a card more IYO? (6990 or 6970) about maxing the RAM it depends on the track ect. some are as low as 1800Mb others are up to ~3700Mb. Can anyone tel me: Is the data dublicated? Am I using 900Mb *2 ~1750Mb*2 or 1800Mb ~ 3700Mb. Acording to Linus video it must be the first. additionaly a crasy idear.; have anyone seen if you can dedicate 1 GPU to the center screen? my idear is that It could be nice to trade some FPS from the side screens to the middle. I dont think this is posible and you somehow had to run the 2 cards not in CF (mabye 2 seperat cards are nedded to do this, if posible)
  5. This was also my idear. that I nedded second eyes on. Mabye Linus will test the difference one day. But as I se it; my limitation is at first the GPU both running at 99% so an additional card will help. Additional: It is normal for the review to test different games. BF4, Metro ... ect. but I have never seen a racing game in the tests. does anybody know what game of the usual from the tests that I can best compaire with for Project cars or NFS Shift 2?
  6. I am missing a review comparison for GPU on 3 screens. all test are normaly made with 1 screen. and Linus states that GPU in SLI does not perform because it does not give you more VRAM. I am playing Project cars on 3 screens 5990x1200. can I regard this as close to a 4K resulution in the tests I se? I would really like to se Linus do a test of different grafic cards for this purposes. What do I "need" if I want to get a better setup: I have a 6990 card. running at 30+ FPS in the game with most settings on medium. in game I can se. GPU1 running 98% GPU2 running 99% using 2500-3700 MB VRAM. (arcording to Linus video I should only be able to use 2 GB ??? as data is just dublicated). As I understand the video I will not get a benefit to have another 6990 in CF if the VRAM is the limitation? I am confused. Can You explain?
  7. I had the same problem. in Windows I had to assing the pc to use the powerful GPU for all programs, not only the game needed. You proberly have to restart the pc before it works.
