  1. For old games, get them from GOG, they are all guaranteed to work due to them applying all patches and testing to make sure it works
  2. Try running a stress test such as OCCT, they will fail in a few mins if the overclock is bad. I used to have a similar issue until I ran that and redid my oc
  3. It's in the setting menu, under the audio tab
  4. Check the auto background scan for music is switched off. That can cause stuttering
  5. Try turning off the background auto scan for music, I was having the same issue, silky smooth for a while, then big stutters, etc. Lots of googling later and I found the cause of my issue (It seems people have a different cause each time so lots of trialing), I switched that option off, and resolved the stutters!
