For those who still say that i7s don't matter for gaming over an i5, here's a comparison of a 7700K with a 7600K, 7350K and G4560, be sure to check out not only raw FPS but also frametimes as those are VERY important:

    @ivan134 So you're planning to get the cheapest 6 core and OC it? Apparently the R7 1700 overclocks to around 4,1GHz with a 240mm AIO from Asetek. So it's safe to assume that the 1800X will do around 4,3-4,4 under the same AIO.

     

    I'm considering getting the R7 1700 and ditching my 6700K cause it'll just drop in price too much imo.

    Precisely, hence why if I were to get an 8-core, I'd get the R7 1700 ^_^ Gonna wait for final reviews on March 2nd though.
