I tried connecting to both but they still dont work

Hey man thanks for the reply! I was using the two red ports on my motherboard the whole time! until I installed Usb 3.0 they stopped working... Can you please elaborate on the partial initialization? I'm new to PC stuff.

Hi everyone, I recently built my very first pc and installed windows 7, after that i popped in the drivers disc from my msi motherboard and installed all the drivers,I then began doing windows updates. Once i completed all of the windows updates i download the latest drivers from the MSI website and my graphics driver. I started by installing the Killer Lan driver and rebooted, everything was going well... until i installed the usb 3.0 driver! I rebooted and my keyboard and mouse weren't working!! This only happened in the windows 7 login prompt, however it was working fine in the BIOS. I need some help to fix this problem, i tried plugging in another mouse and still nothing... I was thinking of re-installing drivers from a usb stick but i dont know how to go about doing that.. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!! Specs: CPU: Intel i5 4690k MOBO: MSI Z79 GAMING 5 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB (2x4) GPU: MSI GTX 970 GAMING Cpu Cooler: Hyper 212x SSD: samsung 850 evo 250gb HDD: 2TB seagate Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro THANKS IN ADVANCE !
