  1. Every person I ask IRL says the same damn thing "Better to get the better quality one because it's better than buying 2 of the cheap ones when the first one breaks", that kinda stuff is all I hear, suppose I'll go for the Asus one so and post back here when I get it just in case someone else is looking at it too. Thanks everyone
  2. I can see that it has a very high reputation alright. But in terms of overall performance, would an average user be able to tell the difference between using these monitors? Just really cautious about forking out the extra money when I may not need to.
  3. Been looking for a 144Hz monitor for a few days now and have watched so many videos on YouTube and I've come down to two options. (If you have any other options please don't hesitate to link them!) I've linked both of the monitor's below. 1. I can get this monitor used from Amazon Warehouse deals for £156 which is definitely my wallets favorite option - https://www.amazon.co.uk/IIYAMA-ProLite-GB2488HSU-B1-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B00IPN552M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475828668&sr=8-1&keywords=GB2488HSU - I also just play Overwatch and one of the pro players called 'NiCo' from the team 'Melty' uses this as his monitor. 2. Probably the most common 144Hz panel outside of the BenQ range and is definitely the max I will pay only if it's worth the extra money which is what I'm here to find out - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-VG248QE-24-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00B19T7QC/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1475829725&sr=1-2&keywords=144hz+monitor Is the Asus monitor really worth the extra £70? Please let me know which option you think is better to go for. As I said above, if you have any other suggestions please link there here and it needs to be from Amazon UK and under £220. Thanks for your time and help
  4. Looking to get a good monitor for gaming which is from a reliable brand and will last me a long time. Needs to be 1080p and 1ms response time. Budget is as cheap as possible for the best reliability. Was looking at this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CFFFGUM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE or this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005OPLG0O/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE Dunno the difference between them Thanks in advance.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions. How about this one? - https://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-Extended-FURY-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00TY6A2D6/ref=sr_1_10?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1474042118&sr=1-10&keywords=extended+mouse+mat
  6. So at the moment I have a Steelseries QCK+. I recently bought a new desk and now I'm looking at buying an extended mouse pad/keyboard pad for the desk. Doesn't need to be the size of the desk, just enough to go under the keyboard and enough room for the mouse for gaming. I am looking for something under £20 from http://www.amazon.co.uk If anybody knows of a good one. Please link me. Was also wondering if all the extended mouse mats have the same material as the Steelseries QCK+? Thanks in advance!
  7. It's not that great to be honest. I was thinking something more like Picasa, but that's dead and gone now....
  8. So my mom just got a cheap laptop and I'm setting it all up for her with Windows 10 and updates and the usual stuff. She mostly got it for storing photos and videos from her phone/tablet and since she is completely clueless when it comes to using a laptop, I was just thinking about a program which she can open and it will display all her photos in one place from a connected device (phone or tablet), instead of going into explorer and digging through the SD Card which she will not manage to do. So if anyone could recommend some "photo organizing software" of some sort, I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance!

  10. I bought a HP Z230 and the specs you can find below. I added the GPU myself. I'm just wondering should I upgrade the PSU or will it be okay to keep the 400W PSU? CPU: Xeon E3-1225 V3 Motherboard: Whatever one is in the Z230. Memory: 2x4GB DDR3 GPU: GTX 660Ti (Connected by 1 6-Pin and 1 Molex to 6-Pin) PSU: 400W from the HP Z230 HDD: WD Blue SSD: Toshiba Q300
  11. I'm a low sensitivity player also and lift a lot too so I was looking at the Logitech Series but then saw you had the FinalMouse. Thanks for your input, will take it into consideration! Might end up buying the two from Amazon and returning which one I don't prefer. Thanks again
  12. What's your thoughts on the FinalMouse? I see it listed in your specs.
  13. So I'm on a €400 budget for a used PC. I am currently stuck between the two computers which I have linked below. PC 1 (€280) - https://www.adverts.ie/desktops/hp-z230-mini-tower-workstation-intel-xeon-e3-1225-v3-3-2ghz-8gb-ram-ddr3-ecc-1000gb-hdd-dvd-writer-intel-hd-p4600-windows-10-pro-64-bit/11098293 - Comes with a 400W Power Supply (Brand I don't know) PC 2 (€260) - https://www.adverts.ie/desktops/x8-core-gaming-cad-audio-dell-workstation/11084442 - Comes with a 875W DELL H875E-00 I already have a MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr in my house so I will just be putting that into whichever build I get. So whichever build you think would be better performance for the money, please let me know! I just can't find any benchmarks for the Dual E5420's around so hoping someone here could know something Thanks for your time! (Underneath you will find what I do on computer) Bigger Programs: (Besides Chrome, Spotify etc.) Photoshop - Nothing serious, some basic editing for college Programming - Nothing serious, Java, HTML and Python Sony Vegas - Basic Edit's, won't ever be a 4K render or anything of the sort Games: Counter Strike: Global Offensive - Run at 1024x768 resolution, all low settings Overwatch - Run at 1920x1080 resolution, all low settings Team Fortress 2 - 1920x1080 resolution, all low settings
  14. Would any of these be a good alternative to buying new? A GPU would just need to be added then. - https://www.adverts.ie/desktops/hp-z230-mini-tower-workstation-intel-xeon-e3-1225-v3-3-2ghz-8gb-ram-ddr3-ecc-1000gb-hdd-dvd-writer-intel-hd-p4600-windows-10-pro-64-bit/11098293 - https://www.adverts.ie/desktops/x8-core-gaming-cad-audio-dell-workstation/11084442
  15. Should've mentioned. Needs to be from UK with shipping to Ireland included.
  16. €400-450. Based in Ireland so needs to be from UK. As Irish prices are too expensive.
  17. Hi, I'm looking to build a computer, for around £350-400 (Based in Ireland so it needs to be able to ship to Ireland), which will be adequate enough for what I do on a daily basis. I will leave everything I do and every game I play and at what settings I play them at, all listed below. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bigger Programs: (Besides Chrome, Spotify etc.) Photoshop - Nothing serious, some basic editing for college Programming - Nothing serious, Java, HTML and Python Sony Vegas - Basic Edit's, won't ever be a 4K render or anything of the sort Games: Counter Strike: Global Offensive - Run at 1024x768 resolution, all low settings Overwatch - Run at 1920x1080 resolution, all low settings Team Fortress 2 - 1920x1080 resolution, all low settings ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's basically all I do on computer, of course there is some other things which I do but 90% of the time, this will be the main list. Thanks for your time!
  18. Thanks everyone, I appreciate your opinion very much!
  19. This is I guess kinda related to tech. I just received my new phone, the Motorola Moto G4 and want to buy a case for it. I really like this one which I have linked below but would love to know what color people would think looks best. So please comment below and let me know! Thanks for your time Link to case on Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01EWLGZLA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AN99H8PJX28ZX
