  1. After I order my new pc as I mentioned, I'd like to keep it for at least 3-5 years before buying a new one.
  2. Yea I have the budget, but my only question is, is the 980ti overkill for 1080p-1440p gaming?
  3. Okay so, at the moment I have a GTX 760, I'm ordering my i5 4690k, 16gb 1600mhz, new ssd and all that other fun stuff. I'm wondering, should I keep the 760 i have at the moment and just SLI it? Or buy a 970/980/980ti? I'll be on 1080p, maybe 1440p at a later date. EDIT: I also have a 780w 80 Bronze PSU so SLI will be easily achievable.
  4. I found this one, it's 600w (i want a bit of breathing room for SLI in the future), http://www.scan.co.uk/products/600w-evga-600b-80plus-bronze-1x120mm-silent-fan-atx-psu
  5. Maybe a little bit.
  6. Just wondering what PSU I will need for this build. i7 4790k EVGA 980 No LEDs, no liquid cooling. Going for silence in a Silent Base 800 with a Dark Rock Pro 3. So there will be like 6 fans tops. Thanks <3
  7. Lucky. Here in the UK it's 20%.

  9. Why are PC parts so expensive in the UK? The price of a 980ti in America is the same as a normal 980 here. A Titan X in the US is $1000, well here it is £1000 ($1537) I cry
  10. This may be a stupid question but would this motherboard support the 980ti? Also would the PSU be good enough? http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-z97-gaming-3-intel-z97-s1150-ddr3-pcie-30-(x16)-2-way-crossfirex-displayport-hdmi-atx
  11. I'm having such a hard time deciding what GPU(s) to get for my new build which will be: i7 4790k, 16gb 2133mhz, 750w 80 GOLD PSU. There is so much controversy between AMD and Nvidia as you know, but then, there is also the problem with the 970 actually having 3.5gb of VRAM instead of 4gb. Here are the cards I could get, I'd love to know which would be best in the build I posted for 1080p-1440p gaming. Any opinions are appreciated. SLI 970s Single 980 Single 980ti 295x2 Thanks
  12. Thank you for the heads up! Yea I just want it silent for web browsing etc, when I'm gaming I'll be wearing headphones so I doubt I'll hear them! Thanks for the advice!
  13. Sorry I forgot to mention it's gotta look sexy too. Although, the windowed version of the r5 could be good, and probably better air flow compared to the r5
  14. Just 1080p and at a later date 1440p
  15. Hello! At the end of this month I will be getting a new system, my main question is will all the parts I have chosen run well together? Also any opinions or advice is highly appreciated. Case: NZXT H440 (black and red) Mobo: ASUS Z97 PRO (black and red) CPU: i7 4790k (I'd like to OC) GPUs: 2 STRIX 970s in SLI (is this a good choice? I like the silence feature) RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb 2133MHz PSU: Corsair RM 750w 80 GOLD (will this be a sufficient power supply for this system?) SSD: Intel 730 240gb CPU Cooler: Corsair H105 Misc: Corsair SP 120mm fans for the rad, Corsair AF140 for exhaust. Was thinking 3 Noctua industrial fans for the front intake? As I said, any opinions and advice is hugely appreciated. I will be gaming at 1080p and at a later date 1440p, never 4k. Thanks!
