  1. Okay so I recently got a corsair h100 gtx for my build in a corsair carbide spec 01. My ram was in the way of mounting the rad at the top so I removed my hard drive cage to put the dual rad in the front of the case. I put my hdd and my ssd in the drive bay and it's looking kind of messy now that I step back and look at it. TlDR I was wondering if I could somehow replace the drive bay with the hard drive cage in a spec 01
  2. ive seen a photo of a dual rad mounted in the front but i dont know if he had it for the gpu or cpu. i was more so asking because of the length of the tubes.
  3. So even if the hose's reached, i couldnt mount it in the front??
  4. Okay so i need to get a new cpu cooler so ive been looking at the h100i serious but i have nice AF fans at the top of my case so i was wondering if i could use the h100i water coolers but mount the radiater in the front of my case? TLDR, can i mount a corsair dual-rad at the front of my corsair spec-01 case.
  5. I don't know the individual temps on the cores but do you think it would be safe to recreate the situation and cause my pc to overheat on purpose just to get some data? or should i just wait to get a new cpu cooler and recreate it then?
  6. i haven't stress tested it with an actual program yet because i didn't think it would be a good idea with the broken fan and all. I was going to wait until to got a new cooler before i ran it through any actual test. That being said, i was streaming starcraft 2, and i was running at about 50-70% cpu load when my pc crashed.
  7. I'm using core temp. it usually never says i go past 60c at the very very most. i only get to 50c under moderate load
  8. But the most recent time it crashed like that, my cpu was hovering around 50c
  9. When i first built my PC, my CPU wasn't getting cooled well enough so it was over heating, and it gave me a bsod. While i was installing some case fans i broke a blade off of my CPU fan. Since it had 9 total blades, i broke off two more blades to even them out. I haven't had any over heating issues now but every time i put my CPU under moderately high stress it crashes and gives me the same bsod. My brother seems to think that it is a fault chip but i just wanted to ask here for some extra input. Here is my build: AMD FX8350 black edition asus m5a97 r2.0 asus gtx 750ti oc coolermaster 550w 8gb kingston ram And here is the bsod that i am getting
  10. Well i don't want to bother with the hassle of buying it online and having to boxing it all back up just to return it if it doesn't fit. so i thought it'd be a good idea to ask around here. The issue isn't that my sticks are tall but rather that my case doesn't proved much more room than enough for a fan between the sticks and the top of the case.
  11. So the AMD processor i have is known to run hot and it has been for me. However, the way my motherboard is designed, my memory sticks get in the way of a dual-rad cpu cooler like the corsair h100i. So i was wondering if anyone know if the tubing on the dual-rad cpu water coolers is long enough to have the rad mounted on the front of the case instead. My build consists of: Corsair Spec 01 case Asus m5a97 r2.0 motherboard AMD FX 8350 black edition cpu
  12. I think the price on Amazon or Newegg is around $300-$350 per 770. He is getting two for $300. What kind of issues come with running dual graphics cards??
  13. Right now i have an Asus Geforce GTX 750 Ti and my brother has a HIS Radeon HD 7770. My brother is considering buying two GTX 770s so i had a couple of questions. 1. Can i use his 7770 with my 750 ti? 2. If i cannot use bother cards simultaneously, which card should i use? 3. Would it be possible in stead, split the 770s so my brother and i would each get one on top of the GPUs we already have? Thanks in advance!
