I have a dual Intel Xeon L5420 computer and with Windows 8.1 it showed up with 2 Sockets and 8 Cores in task manager but when I upgraded to Windows 10 it only says I have 1 Socket and 4 Cores in task manager and I still have both of them installed. Is both of them being used? If not how can I fix it??? Thanks

The laptop is like 3 years old and i went and installed windows xp on it because it was very slow and the battery works on windows 7 i know and it works for an hour and a half give or take thirty minutes so the battery isn't dead

Well i built my PC and i already spend 400$ on my PC and then it would not start so i had to buy a cheap one but it doesn't have a 16x slot it has a 8x slot and i bought a adapter to use the graphics card but it is a riser card so i could not put a full size card into that slot

What I want to do is to get a box of network cable (CAT5e) And wanting to put a wire from the living room (Where the modem is *cannot be moved!) and run it under the house to my room and Doing a TP-LINK TL-SF1008D 8-port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch. I need enough for 3 PC's And one Xbox 360 And Xbox One Is this a good idea or can I just keep my money and move on? I only get 18 Down 1 Up and I think its triple that on wired! Thanks ~Tehepic
