  1. you can try to use AOMEI Partition Assistant, which brings a new function named "Migrate OS to SSD or HDD Wizard", which is especially designed for users who want to quickly migrate operating system from old hard drive to a new one or SSD without reinstalling Windows operating system and applications and it supports MBR and GPT disks. With this software, you do not need to worry about the problems mentioned above anymore. Just put them all to partition assistant. It will solve them all by easy operations and will satisfy you greatly.
  2. Windows 7 itself comes with backup&restore function. It allows us to make a partition image file that contains the MBR partition table. Meanwhile, we can also use Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool to create Windows 7 bootable USB drive. Please be advised that to use this method, the storage of SSD must be larger that old HDD storage.more detail steps you can follow this article Migrate Windows 7 from HDD to SSD without Third Party Tools:http://www.disk-partition.com/kb/migrate-win7-ssd.html
  3. from the picture ,i can see the new hard drive is totally full, i think maybe the way of your backup is wrong, so it is advisable to you see incremental backup, full backup and differential backup. as i know full backup mainly has two disadvantages. On one hand, it would cost more time. On the other hand, the image file of full backup requires more storage space. There isn't any way to remove the reduplicative data but to delete the image file of the last full backup. so you can choice differential or incremental backup.
  4. you can do backup by yourself, you can just backup the file and application that you want to save or just back system image. in my view, if you just want to create a system image, you can only backup the system image on windows 7. you can choice windows built-in utility to backup your system image. What's more, you can also employ a powerful and free backup software, such as AOMEI Backupper. this software have one-click backup system image function.if you are green hand for computer, this simple and safe software is very suitable for you. i hope this will help for you.
  5. Windows 8 or 8.1 system image backup is the the best way to protect your data from the unexpected situation.if you want to back up windows 8.1 system image ,you can use the AOMEI Backupper which have the function of one-click backup system drive.if you want to restore it on another computer , you can use the function of universal restore.this software can meet your demand.more detail you can read this. http://www.backup-utility.com/windows-8/create-system-image-backup-windows-8.html
