  1. Alright, thanks. I'll give it a go. I know higher speed ram is good for my Ryzen cpu.
  2. Can you get DDR4 rated at 2400 overclocked to 3000 or higher safely through bios OCing, and if so what is the best way to go about it? I ask cause I have never overclocked anything before.
  3. My desktop mobo got fried. Time to start money scraping.

  4. wishing for a working newer GPU for ASUS P5E

  5. Yes. It's one long continuous beep if you don't. Not one long burst followed by 3 short bursts.
  6. Well it was 93 bucks after shipping.
  7. Dude, I've been on an Nvidia 8800GT sine 2008. I need an upgrade far worse.
  8. Yeah, but I've already got all the nvidia stuff on my PC. Geforce experience, drivers and what have you.
  9. I guess that's what I get for buying used on ebay. crap. That was $93 wasted.
  10. It will work fine with the old GPU, but it has no built in graphics so it won't work at all without one. Mobo is made for use with GPUs
  11. Not on hand that would take it. Could it be anything else?
  12. Okay guys, I have an ASUS P5E mobo with these stats http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5E/specifications/ and the latest BIOS version for it 1201. I recently got a PNY Geforce GTX 650 to replace my old 8800GT, but when I plugged in my GTX 650 it beeped and wouldn't activate the screen even for BIOS. Any suggestions what might be wrong? I have a Silencer 750 Watt PSU and a Core 2 Duo E6750 processor installed at 2.66 with 4 gigs of RAM. What could be the issue? I'd really like to get this thing working if possible.
  13. Agitated at my PC

  14. thanks guys. i will definately check them all out
  15. Which software is best for monitoring the performances of your PC such as CPU, memory and graphics to make sure all is running properly?
  16. I run with Webroot SecureAnywhere which last I checked can be gotten from Walmart for around $20 and back it up with the free version of Malwarebytes. Seems to work so far, though in truth nothing has ever gotten past Webroot to be caught by Malwarebytes as of yet.
  17. I was able to get a PNY GTX 650 TI two gigabyte edition for 75 dollars. I know it's not the 750 TI suggested, but will it still be a decent GPU? I know it has to be better than the one I am using since it has 2 gigs over my 512 megs current.
  18. I did manage to find this. Thoughts? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Latitude-D630-Intel-Core-2-Duo-2-20-GHz-2GB-RAM-14-DVD-R-RW-Wi-Fi-1651/351406577032?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3D1865b5773c784112a4810e4a7c5b1ec3%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D351267167657&rt=nc
  19. How did you manage that?
  20. Out od curiousity, do you guys know if and where one can get a free or really cheap laptop as a student? I have very little money but could use a laptop since I am in school to be a computer support specialist, but currently am trying to support myself on a fast food cashier income.
  21. Well the software company call it boosting, and even that would help. I'm pretty sure I need that since I've been running with this machine since 2008 or so.
  22. memtest.com, the original has a free download. Is there any advantage to getting memtest86+ over memtest86?
  23. That fixes registry errors, but I'm talking about fixing more than that and boosting ram, cpu and net speeds.
