yea I've been scouting for awhile online, it seems to be a pretty common issue for GTA I've tried multiple fixes and can't getting working I've been talking with rockstar support for the past 2 hours ish, and all they tell me over and over is reinstall then when I say no that's not going to fix it, they just stop talking and move me onto the next person who goes through the exact same dialog, I'm slowly turning into an NPC. send help, please.

Yea I've even tired running the game through steam as a non-steam game, I have no clue why it's doing this, what baffles me more is I thought when I go to download the game again, and just tell it to go into the same file that RDR2 is already in, hoping it would just sync the files and then recognize the game NOPE it just keeps trying to download the game.

I've looked into a problem quite a lot online and it seems to be a pretty common problem with GTA and people just seem to really dislike rockstar launcher in general.

Yea, i've only ever used steam this was my first time using a launcher outside of steam...Never again will I purchase anything outside of steam dude

Yea the second time I contacted them was the most annoying the guy asked me over and over for different screenshots of each thing he wanted to see maybe a total of about 9-12 screenshots, and then he just said "You're going to have to do a fresh install" then did the ol' copy paste on how to do a clean install... I sat there wondering why he asked for those screenshots if he was just going to tell me to re-install he didn't even try to give me other options.

I've contacted Rockstar support twice now, and both times they've told me to reinstall the game I'm Australian so I get a cap on my GB usage per month because I've downloaded the game twice now I have 5bg left before my cap rolls over.

i can only do it if the game is installed and at the moment rockstar game launcher doesn't think the game is installed.

I worded that part poorly, i meant I tired to open the game via the files when it wouldn't allow me to open from the launcher, the launcher just says "download" where the play button should be. I would normally run it through the launcher though which I got to do a grand total of once lol.

So I bought Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Rockstar game launcher it asked me where it wanted to be stored I selected the drive I typically use for games, and did the exact same for the game itself RDR2. I go to sleep while it's downloading wake up and go to play the game, to my surprise it's saying it's not downloaded, I check the file and I can clearly see RDR2 119GB I try to open it via the file doesn't work. I re-downloaded the Rockstar game launcher, deleting all the files and software like Social Club, and reinstalled the program again (following a YouTube guide) NOPE. It still just wanted me to download the game again. So I did... And it worked. I played it for a few hours before heading to bed. I went to play again tonight and NOOOPE wants me to download the game again and refuses to sync with the file that already exists I can't keep re-downloading 119gb every time I want to play a game especially when the download takes me a whopping 31 hours (Australian internet sucks badly) oddly the RDR2 file only shows up WHILE downloading the game again if i pause or stop the download the file just wont show I'm not sure why the files refuse to sync and why it even asked me to download the game again or why the files are hidden unless I'm installing it.

So after a little bit a research into the microphone t.bone sc 420 USB it seems VERY sensitive if you look at this video time stamps 12:25 you can hear him from the other side of the room and also at 14:57 when he types it's pretty loud i can only assume if he had sound coming from his speakers it would feed right back into the microphone The video is in another language i couldn't find any in English sorry.

For the purpose of say just doing zoom calls with people and not wanting to wear earphones/headphones would any microphone with cardioid? put it on a boom arm and would that be enough?

In my last post i was asking about which microphone could i get that would eliminate sound from my speakers, after doing a bit of research it seems that's quite hard to achieve but i do see youtubers doing interviews, while not wearing a headset im going to link an example video PLEASE DO NOT make it political it's not about the contents of the video just the fact this individual has a microphone that is not picking up his speakers and creating an audio loop. Again i am NOT trying to make a political thread it's just about a microphone. I'm not sure if this is agasint any ToS if it is i'll remove the video.

I will be doing a lot of zoom calls for freelance work, and I'm wanting a more professional sound. I would like to do this by not having a headset/earbuds. What would be a clear microphone which I can play my speakers at the same time without the microphone picking up sound; creating an audio loop if i'm in zoom or discord, or sound like an earth quake while i'm typing. I am heavily leaning towards USB microphones as it's just plug in and go. I can maybe fuss around with some settings and that's it, my budget isn't very high (<$300), as long as it sounds clear and it's not picking up my speakers. I'll likely need pop filters and a boom arm, and that's okay, the prices seem very reasonable on amazon for those items. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Ah yea i get you aha i was a bit confused, i'll have a look around for some dynamic usb mics as i just want to be able to plug it in and not have to muck around with anything else.

I probably wont use most of those as i'll be talking with people on zoom and i'll have my camera on, it will look a bit odd with a broom handle and some pillows around the room so i'll have to invest in proper stands or filters etc

Yea that might be the move, what are some good prelims, things like a pop filter and mic arm?

I don't need anything at a high professional level, as long as it sounds clear and people can hear me and it's not picking up background noise like my keyboard or speakers that's all i'm after

i have just a generic brand of speakers for my PC so can i just get this microphone and it wont pick up background noise from things like my keyboard or the speakers and create an audio loop from the speakers to my mic? Also I've heard a lot of mixed things about the yeti some people say it's amazing and other says it's pure garbage not really sure what to think.

If i do a system reset on my PC and choose the option "keep my files" will it still keep things like my photos and work doc?

So i made a post about a week ago, basically i can't use my windows start button, calender or search my files and a few other things, i've tired every fix i can find on the internet, problem presists in safe mode and i've even made a new windows account and same thing my last option is to do a system reset, if i chose the option "keep my files" when i do a system reset will that fix the issue, or will i have to do "remove everything"
