  1. @forthe48 I am using Windows 10, automatic rearranging is turned of. @SkilledRebuilds Thanks, I will try that programme
  2. I have a couple minor issues regarding my desktop, and maybe you can help me with those. The first one are my destop icons restting and being lined up randomly at the left side (presumably after a game changes graphic settings?). Is there a way to stop this? Secondly: I have a weird bug where the bottom icon row is not entirely usable. (Some) Icons will go in the left and rightmost position and into some in the middle of the screen, but every other position will stay blank, where as some icons will not go into the bottom row at all. Does anybody know what could cause that? The last one is the horizontal icon spacing. The vertical spacing is fine should I find a solution to problem number two, but horizontally there is about half an icon of space left. I therefore wanted to change the icon spacing so that I can either put a full icon there or increase teh distance to have the same amount of icons as I do now but with the last one being at the edge of the screen. I found the folder with the IconSpacing/VerticalIconSpacing values in regedit and tried changing them, but nothing seemes to change, no matter which value I chose. Did I miss something? Thank you for your answers.
  3. Ah, thank you. Thought it would be a "normal" speaker. But that doesnt matter anymore. I rebuild the system from cratch again and now it works.
  4. Hey Guys As the title suggests I have a problem with my System. When pressing the power button the fans start spinning (CPU-Cooler, GPU and Case), the GPU lights up, the OD starts working, but my monitor says "No Signal". Here are the things that are definately not the cause of the problem Defect RAM (Dual Channel in both colours, Single Channel with each RAM-Bar in every slot) Defect GPU (GTX 560 & GTX 970 Problems with the CPU-Cooler (Thermal paste is correctly installed, fans are spinning, Heat is definately not a problem) Cables that are not plugged in correctly (Checked every cable with tips from the internet and the manual) Defect PCI-E lanes (I tried both with both GPUs) I already tried getting into the BIOS somehow (USB Flashback - after 15 minutes still nothing happened, Windows 8.1 CD, ASUS driver CD), but nothing wont work. I also took out the battery, but that didnt help either Could it be a problem with the Motherboard? I dont think so becaue the fan headers work and LEDs work. Also a dead MB would not explain why my monitor wont work on my dads PC. I hope you can help me fix my problem. EDIT: My dads monitor (720p) works on his PC, but my monitor (1080p) wont work on his. None of them work on my PC though. EDIT 2: I ran the system without any RAM instaled to see if the speakers would make beeping nioses which my headphones didnt - the speakers didnt either. (Or maybe Im just to dumb, but other than the ports on the back there were no ports to plug in speakers)
  5. I put in the SSD. The 850 Evo should be fine.
  6. Hey Guys I want to build a new PC for my dad since his current one is properly old (we're talking about Athlon 64 3000+ and DDR-400 old...) and thus extremely slow. Pretty much the only use for this system would be as Office-PC. I did a bit of research and this is the current build I picked out: Pcpartpicker-Link: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Pentium G3450 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor (€72.61 @ Home of Hardware DE) Motherboard: Asus H97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard (€132.89 @ Amazon Deutschland) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (€40.98 @ Amazon Deutschland) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate Barracuda 250GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: EVGA GeForce GT 630 2GB Video Card Case: Corsair 250D Mini ITX Tower Case (€92.71 @ Amazon Deutschland) Total: €339.19 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-05-26 21:48 CEST+0200 CPU: Intel Pentium G3450 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor (€72.61 @ Home of Hardware DE) Motherboard: Asus H97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard (€132.89 @ Amazon Deutschland) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (€40.98 @ Amazon Deutschland) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 160GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Storage: Seagate Barracuda 250GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: EVGA GeForce GT 630 2GB Video Card Case: Corsair 250D Mini ITX Tower Case (€92.71 @ Amazon Deutschland) Total: €339.19 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-05-26 20:24 CEST+0200 Since the website didnt have all parts though I decided to list them seperately with their equivalent price in US-Dollar. Shadow Rock LP (39$) GPU: EVGA GT 630 2GB DDR3 (already owned) RAM: 2x2GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Black DDR3-1600 (45$) PSU: Be Quiet! Everything else doesnt need to be bought. This results in a total of around 493$/443€. Budget shouldnt really go above 450€/490$ Is there anything you would change? EDIT: Changed the 160GB HDD for an 850 EVO 120 GB
  7. Exactly I just think that having an AiO that doesnt take up all of your case and doesnt limit you in the choice of your RAM is just much better than a big block of metal (no matter how good the air cooler looks). Also: Corsair offers a 5 year warranty iif Im correct, so shouldnt the cooler be able to last that long?
  8. Hey Guys As the title suggests Im looking for a good 240mm cooler to cool my current FX 6350 and later on the 6700k. From what I have seen until now I would go with a Corsair H105/H100 GTX for my NZXT H440. but I still have some questions. - How long do AiOs usually last? - I know that I should always try to keep positive pressure. Im going to have the 3 120mm fans at the front as intake while the 140mm fan at the back and the 2 120mm fans from the radiator at the top are going to be exhaust. Is there going to be positive pressure so that I can have the AiO as push or should I go for pull to be able to clean it more easy? -How is the support for LGA 1151 going to look like? Are coolers that support 1150/1155 also going to support 1151? Thank you for your answers
