    HD6XX questions

Hello First of all: i read the FAQs of this sub but i am still not sure. i will get my hd6xx in a few weeks and i am wondering if my asus viii hero is good enough for them? i was looking into a shiit stack or an o2 from massdrop but i would rather save the money if my onboard is good enough. Thanks
  2. after testing it a view days i decided to return it anyways. For that price it's just not worth it yet (at least for me)
  3. well what will that get me?? they won't fit on the bottom
  4. Funny thing I have an 34" 21:9 (3440x1440) and a 24" 16:9 (2560x1440) Is there a way that they connect correctly (See Picture)? I know it is the Resolution but i am willing to give up a little on that but I am not sure how to do it
  5. How would a flat and a curved work together, because i won't sell the one i have now
  6. Ok what monitor are you using?
  7. any experience with ultrawide or curved?
  8. well i have a 5.1 hooked up to my pc and responsetime won't matter for me for the bezzels i think the same model would look much better than thinner bezzels right?
  9. well looks kinda the same as my dell. whats the difference?
  10. Hej there, currently i have a Dell U2515H and i really want a secound monitor (productivity, ...) What I was thinking on getting: a curved one with XXXx1440p (same height) as my main display 4K Monitor (same size) the same again I am not really sure what would be the best solution as well as what price i need to calculate. What it should have: thin bezel at least 1440p good colors (photoshop, ...) Any thoughts on what i should get? What price should I consider (<500, >500, ~4000, ...)? Maybe a monitor which would suit me? Thanks
  11. if I do that the CPU will still be able to downclock when doing nothig?
  12. Ok I did: - Reset - AiOverclock Tuner -> XMP (for my RAM) - CPU Core/Cache Voltage -> Adaptive mode - Additional Turbo Mode CPU Core Voltage -> Manual - OffsetVoltage -> Manual Now the Voltage doesn't go over 1.2V and stays at 4GHz or lower
  13. what is the difference? and if in adaptive mode still 1.25V?
  14. ok so i just set it to manual 1.250V and turned turbo mode back on. when i run prime95 i get 70°C but somehow the CPU wont turbo? any idea? and btw HWMonitor tells me now Voltage is around 1.250 with a peak at 1.34isch
  15. isn't there an auto mode which just doesn't overclock or do i have to set a manual voltage?
  16. Ok so I don't have an air cooler around atm so can't test that. I wrote a ticket to corsair telling them about the problem and I will see what they have to say (probably send it back and get a new one). For now I disabled the turbo mode so I have a max CPU Speed of 4GHz (enough for the stuff I am doing atm) and with prime95 I got temps at around 70°C for around 2h which I think is fine/safe I'll keep you posted as soon as I get the reply from corsair and tell you the temps when i get the air cooler from a friend. Thanks for the help so far.
  17. Ok funny thing: in Corsair Link where i monitor to have a reference to HWMonitor the cooler doesn't change the tempreature ^^ by that i mean if the cpu goes from 30 to now 80-90 it changes from 31 to 38? as I saw that i thought ok thats why the fans don't start -> changed them to max rpm -> no temp improvement (maybe because i changed the default ones to OP ones) For Voltage I don't think its too much as I googled i found many having the same Voltage. I also have different temps on difrent modes in prime95. When i use the first (Small FFTs) the temp instantly jumps to 100°C, on In-place large FFTs it slowly rises to 80-90 for quite some time and then rises to upper 90 where i stopped @weed
  18. @weed i am working on it atm as soon as it's running again i do another test and post everything
  19. @weed here is the output of the HWMonitor maybe you find something (the right column are the numbers while testing with prime)
  20. nope no improvement. I reapply thermal paste in the next one or two hours i'll post an update after that
  21. pressing down my water cooler
  22. well can't run realbench becaus i am missing the OpenCL.dll testing what happens if i run prime again and hold down the cooler a little
  23. I test realbench in a sec because they said prime95 isn'T that good
