Was mostly speaking on linux vs unraid. But seem easier to simply use Unraid. do you know if it's possible to allocate only 1-2 HDD to nextcloud, and make it impossible for hacker to reach the others ?

Hi, I wanted to do a home server to ''de-google'' myself, since I have 60tb and ryzen 7 1700 laying around. I was wondering what would be easier ( im not a pro in linux ) , better usage and addon wise, and security wise ; to install unraid then the Nextcloud addon or install directly nextcloud ? thanks!

hello , Im looking for a storage drive ( 1tb ) that is silent , I currently have a WD black but it's too noisy, my os is running on a ssd, so I dont need something really fast. thanks

cutting on budget will backfire in the long run. psu you can keep them a long time if you take a good one with a good warranty, you can easily find some with 5-7 years warranty ( often 2 computer build ) so If I were you I would buy a better one. same thing for ssd ( 64gb is a bit short ) and hdd .

radiator fan ,will be using on a 8 fpi rad, so no need for fan with alot of pressure

Im disapointed by gentle typhoon quality test, I saw that Eloops make horrible noise in front of radiator because of turbulence apparently ( plus way too expensive )

hello Im looking for some good 120mm fan to use on my rads , they are xspc rx240 so the fan dont need alot of pressure. I had some fractal silent r2 but the sound is annoying, then got some gentle typhoon 1450 but only 3 on 6 were working properly. I have to buy 8 fan , so not an 20$ fan please. thanks

the sound card itself doesnt make any noise, its the headphone plugged

I just remember that the buzzing noise is more intense on graphic intensive game , could it be link to my gpu ( gtx 670 ) , my sound card sit right on top of it.

I highly doubt I can return it since I have it for soon 1 years
