  2. if conectiong the computers together with one cable no router remember to get a crossover cable
  3. wow i only get that on a bad day well it helps having an exchange only line
  4. bt like: it is ok dislike: the fact that i only get 10Mbps down and <1Mbps on a good day cant get fiber as i live so close to the exchange my line is directly connected to the exchange and can only get adsl2+

  6. assuming you are on windows you can try going into the compatibility setting on the .exe by right clicking and selecting properties then selecting compatibility on the top bar then selecting run as admin and you can go in to control panel and turn off the uac which causes the pop ups (but this is not recommended) http://www.cnet.com/uk/how-to/how-to-run-everything-in-administrator-mode-and-why-you-shouldnt-do-it/

  8. basically you probably need a link configured as a trunk (http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com/definition/trunk) this allows multiple vlan to passover one link
