  1. So after picking stuff, 13700 and 7800x3d is bit too expensive (around 100+eur more + I would need to pick better cooler) What do you guys think about 7700x? I'm not sure about MOBO and PSU (google, reviews says its pretty new model) Any other recommendations?
  2. Thanks, so now I got divided between 13700K and 7800x3d, which will be better for multitasking, maybe more power efficient? I want this PC to last me at least 5 years. Going to buy everything from https://www.skytech.lt/ cause I won't be doing building myself, for 9 eur they do it for you and test it everything. They don't sell Lian Li brand components which is sad. Going for https://www.skytech.lt/113220140g-sapphire-nitro-amd-radeon-7900-xtx-gaming-vaporx-24gb-gddr6-dual-hdmi-p-627375.html cause Taichi is only be available maybe after few weeks. I don't really care about looks, and I would like to get Air CPU cooler cause they more reliable?
  3. Budget (including currency): 2k - 2.5k EUR Country: Lithuania Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: POE, Elden Ring etc. Second monitor chrome 24/7, twitch, youtube live streams. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Main monitor 1440p 165hz, second 1080p 60hz. After some research I settled with Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RX 7900 XTX Taichi White, mainly cause 4080 is too expensive.. And I don't rly care about rtx. Please recommend other parts, and maybe other CPU? Maybe this one is too overkill? Upgrading cause my pc (3700x, 2080s) having problem with black screens, and fans spinning full speed while playing, did everything, my last option is to send for warranty which would take 2 to 3 months... So I think I will buy new on one and fix it this one and sell it.
  4. But I wonder if it will run at 3600mhz after I will put 4
  5. So yesterday I decided to order two more ram sticks. I switched from 2 and 4 ram slots to 1 and 3 to see if it fit, cause my CPU cooler is pretty big (noctua). But now my RAM speed doest go above 2133mhz after XMP enable. Should I be worried? Will it go to 3600mhz after I will put 2 more sticks? moba: x570 aorus elite ram: f4 3600c16d 16gtzr (G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3600MHz CL16 1.35V XMP 2.0) cpu: ryzen 3700x
  6. I also was thinking about G305, cause alot of people recommending, but they said batteries was lasting around 6 months.
  7. Hey, so I'm looking for new mouse, currently I have steelseries rival 300. Right now I'm looking at wireless mouses ( g pro and razer viper ultimate), I never had one so I wonder what cons do they have, should I stick to wired? My palm is medium size.
  8. Hey, I just bought new PC and my older monitor ( xl2411z ) doesn't have Displayport and with adapter I only get 60hz so I'm looking for new monitor, any suggestions? Earlier I was looking at aorus ad27qd I'm from EU, will buy from This shop or This shop (price around 500eur~) specs: Ryzen 7 3700x RTX 2080 Super 16 GB 3600MHz 16cl X570 Aorus Elite
  9. I was going to add one more fan in front, so 2 front 1 back (like in photo), I wonder won't it be too much clutter in case? Cause cooler takes a lot of space too
  10. Hey, so I was almost ordering my pc parts and noticed that GPU will be huge after few mins of googling saw this pick case with case I was going and gpu, it barely fit. case: FRACTAL DESIGN Meshify C Blackout TGL gpu: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GAMING X TRIO cpu cooler: Dark Rock PRO 4 Any other recommendations? Or I will be fine. Looking for some good air flow and under $100
  11. Well you going for similar build as mine, same price range, I hope I will gather some tips from this too.
  12. So came up with something like this.. PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $327.89 @ B&H CPU Cooler be quiet! I just hope any bottlenecks won't happen PSU: 650W enough? SSD: intel 660p still have mixed feelings, saw some bad comments, maybe I should go with something else, samsung etc. and 500gb
  13. Hey guys, So few days ago I decided that it's time to change my PC and started gathering information about new components. My current PC: CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3, Z97 RAM: DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Black 8GB (4x4GB) 1600MHz CL9 1.5V CASE: Corsair Carbide Series™ SPEC-03 RED LED Mid Tower Gaming case GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING PSU: Seasonic M12II-EVO620 620W 80 Plus Bronze HHD: Seagate Barracuda 3.5'' 1TB SATA3 7200RPM 64MB SSD: SAMSUNG SSD M.2 2280 500GB 970 EVO PLUS SSD: SSD Samsung 840 Evo 540/520MBs What I made: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $329.00 @ B&H CPU Cooler NZXT Kraken X62 Rev 2 98.17 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $139.89 @ OutletPC Motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard $114.99 @ Amazon Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $78.89 @ OutletPC Storage Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $94.99 @ Amazon Storage Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $44.89 @ OutletPC Video Card MSI GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card $538.98 @ Newegg Case NZXT H500i ATX Mid Tower Case $109.99 @ B&H Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1451.62 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-08-22 14:38 EDT-0400 Note: A little bit info about me and what I do with my PC I have two monitors, main is 1080p 144hz, I play games ( a lot of them is unoptimised, early access and I think CPU heavy, for example : Path of Exile, Rust, Monster Hunter World, MC, Terraria, PUBG, LOL... And time to time Dark Souls 3, Witcher 3 and I plan to play Cyberpunk). And while I play games I always have chrome open with some kind of Twitch stream on and few tabs. My plan is to have this PC for at least 4-5 years. CPU: I've heard a lot of good things about Ryzen cpu's and it multitasking power but I'm little bit worried about single core power. COOLER: Actually I don't know maybe this is overkill for me, but I do have some plans of overclocking my cpu, but nothing crazy. GPU: I think 2080S is overkill for me and my 1080p 144hz monitor, I don't have plans to switch it to 1440p unless it will broke. MOBO: Just picked random, I saw a lot people picking this mobo, but my problem is that I will be putting 2 m.2's STORAGE: Picked same hhd that I have on my old pc, didn't have any problems with it. Now with m.2 ssd I want to have two of them, I will be using one from my old PC SAMSUNG SSD M.2 2280 500GB 970 EVO and one new one, I saw people picking this intel 660p that is budget friendly but I wonder how is durability. Or I have other plan go with regular ssd not m.2 and that wouldn't require me to change this MOBO CASE: Maybe some recommendation? Better air flow etc. RAM: Picked random, I just know I have to go with min 3200hz cause Ryzen benefits from them, is 3600hz even worth it? PSU: No idea, but I don't have any problem with Seasonic that I heard is really good psu's, my problem is that my local shop only have FOCUS series that saw some comments isn't great. Forgot to say that my budget is around $1800~ And... I think I'm done, appreciate all tips. ? EDIT: sorry, forgot to say that I'm planning to sell my old one, I'm only keeping it that m.2 ssd
