  1. i just checked it out, and i do agree that looks sick, i had originally wanted to get the 980ti strix when it came out due to the color scheme and performance, however, as mentioned with water cooling, thermals no longer become an issue and i can just overclock the other other card anyways. mostly, i just have no clue what to do with fittings, as i've never built a custom loop rig before, atleast not something like this. i know most of my parts are coming from frozen pc , but i just dont know what to order
  2. That's 100% true, i just always assumed that most waterblocks for gpus were made for the refferance design, and i know some makers change that design when they make custom cards, its not a problem i want to run into, although i've never water cooled a gpu before, so the input is nice. if i went air cooling i was going to get the 980ti strix, so i might still look at that then
  3. Hey everyone, finally got a job that allows me to be stupid with my spending money while still saving... So I have a spec list and few ideas and just need some input and recommendations Intel I-7 4790K dual GTX 980ti in sli, prolly evga referance versions for liquid cooling 32 gigs of Vengeance Pro RAM Corsair RM1000 Fatal1ty Professional Mobo from ASRock 2 2tb WD Black drives 1 240 gig intel 730 ssd I want to use the cooler master haf stacker 915f to house the rads for liquid cooling and the HAF 932 with a custom front window panel for the core of the build. as far as what i need for rads and fittings and fans I'm not sure what to go with. I've never gone so far with liquid cooling to run anything this custom. most people i build for are content with a closed loop, but I want to go for broke at about a 5 grand budget in USD I'm basically going for a skunkworks esqu style build but with the red and black color scheme and around half the price Thank you in advance.
  4. Ok guys, i figured it out, I'm going to run PC to mixer via USB, then mixer to PA system using 1/4 to RCA converter cables, then, the mixer has a 1/4 monitor output, so I'll just have to use my regular headphones instead of my headset as monitors off the board
  5. off the top of my head im not sure, i know its a pretty cheap one, i think it was like 100 bucks, it only has 4 channels, im using it soley for the connection between pc and PA system so i have more control. I'll find out in a few when my friend gets back to me EDIT: its the Alesis Multimix 8 USB
  6. Yeah, im running a headset for my own monitor, and the mixor is output to a pa system, the the mixer needs to be used, and i have to figure out a monitor for myself as well
  7. they exist, but all it would do is let me use 1 usb port instead of 2, it would still read as 2 devices
  8. I'm going to be using output to 2 usb devices, the headset is usb, and I could run 3/8 to 1/4 for the mixer, but the audio will get muddy very fast, I'm trying to avoid it, and fix the problem more software wise than anything
  9. So I've ran into a bit of a conundrum, I have to dj a wedding for my sister and her fiance, which is fine, however, I can't figure out how to run audio to 2 different devices at the same time. I'm using a Toshiba Qosmio x70 laptop with a usb mixing board, that I could run via usb, or a 3.5mm adapter to 1/4inch jack, and I also want to use my headset for monitoring, which is a Plantronics gamecom 780. I can't figure out how to run the audio from itunes(although I'm open to using a different program) between both my headset and the mixing board at the same time. I'm using windows 8, and if anyone has any clues, i'd be glad to hear them. I've looked it up o youtube, and everyone seems to have a device called stereo output in their list, but I don't. If you have a way to solve this or a program that lets me use 2 outputs at the same time that would be spectactular.
